Guys, try to be more mindful of whats in your hands and what isn't. For instance, Soryn did good by drawing his weapon before attacking. No one else did that. I'm cutting you guys slack for this battle, but I'll be strict in the future.
If you didn't explicitely state that you drew an item or weapon, then you didn't. And if you did and then never stated that you stowed an item, you will still be holding it in your hand. If you don't pay attention to this in the future, it will cause your problems. For example, no one could've gone down that rope while holding weapons. No one said they drew their weapons again after the climb.
So, for those of you who didn't specifiy you had or didn't have weaponry out, I'm assuming you did. For Soryn, I'm letting you have the extra action for your surprise round. Normally, you would not be able to draw a weapon and attack in the surprise round, unless you had the quick draw feat.
In the future, if someone does something they aren't supposed to, such as draw a weapon when they already had their hands full, and they aren't available to correct their mistake, I'll decide what they did and try to get them to the final point they wanted to be at, and then, you just have to live with whatever I decide your character did. Usually that will mean you dropped something. Sometimes better, sometimes worse.
So don't try to climb a rope while holding your greatsword, otherwise, you'll get to the top of the rope only to find out that you left your greatsword down at the bottom of the pit.
