Gravity smiled at Sacre's reply.
"Love you too." she muttered cheekily. Ah, this was great! New universe, new friends, new ship-!
Wait, people were getting
sick?!
The blue neko snarled in her seat, but none the less affirmed her order and brought the lumbering hulk of metal to a halt in the middle of the void. She kept the engines at an idle and used the ship's CFS to hold them in place. Just in case they weren't the only ones out here.
Gravity gripped the sticks and took a deep breath, which barely contained the rage that was spreading like a wildfire through her core. She had come out here expecting death-defying feats of aviation and general ass-kickery! How much longer would she be made to wait?!
...Ugh, might as well relax. She pulled up her communicator and began softly playing some good ol'
waiting music. Most Yamataians were highly confused about her choice in music, expecting a Nekovalkyrja to listen to techno or classical or something more "proper". It had been a product of her upbringing, really. At flight school, where she'd trained in fighters at first, there had been several Nepleslians. Some were immigrants, some were Nepleslian Navy doing some international training between nations, but most of them had brought with them their special, Nepleslian brand of music. Gravity had become hooked on it from the first time she'd heard a guitar riff. It was aggressive, it got her heart pumping, and it set the mood perfectly for blowing stuff up.
But enough of that. Time for conversation. She needed something to occupy her time with.
"...So!" she said aloud, leaning back in her chair.
Geez, Hoshi had been right! She'd never really spoken to these people! Which was weird, considering how outgoing she was.
"Whaddya call it when a Kuvexian goes into a sushi bar?" She asked the others in the room, spreading her arms wide. She waited a moment before dropping the punchline.
"A FAMILY REUNION!"
