"I say we tie him up, wake him up, and try to get some answers! Then again what the hell do I know," Amnile said. He then glances at his outfit and to the shifter,"I suppose my sash could be a make shift bound but he could probably claw though it," the monk stated. He didn't want to think about Kyru. How he was going to have to drag him to the surface and give him a burial. About looting his equipment like a ghoul for savalgeble stuff. The hard truths of adventuring."What about you two any opinion?" he asked Ahialis and Alo.

Gorfan
HP:10/10
AC:14 (T:10, FF:14)

" I'm very much fine with tying up that malicious shifter so pursuit of us by him will be well-night impossible" The dwarf said in concurrence with the others.

Alo

Alo wasn't listening. He was in shock. His friend was DEAD. Dead? What was he going to do? Amnile's question went unanswered, and Alo continued to try in vain to help his dead friend.

Amnile Grabs Alo and shakes him. "We can't do anything for him down in the sewers! Kyru needs to go to a temple,"Amnile said to the mage. Yes it was futile. But he had to give the man some hope.

Gorfan
HP:10/10
AC:14 (T:10, FF:14)

Gorfan shook his head sadly and made his over to the changeling, patting his shoulder gently...

" I'm sorry about the death of Kyru, but you can be rest assured that he didn't die in vain...for the time being"

Alo
HP: 7/7
AC: 11 (vt:11, ff:10)

A part of Alo wanted to lash out at Amnile. What did that monk think he was doing? He didn't have it in him to do that though, so he begrudgingly allowed himself to be pulled to his feet. Their words about Kyru's death having meaning did nothing for him, he was already coming to the conclusion that it was his fault. He'd wanted to come down here, Kyru hadn't. His head sank and he still said nothing.

Ahlias steps above the downed Shifter and Kyru's corpse, and he watches stoically as Amnile rushes up the stairs towards the surface. The Fighter shakes his head, but cannot really blame him.

"I won't rush after him - some folks can't take the pressure."

Ahlias looks up at Alo and Gorfan, and realized they were all that remained of a strong group.

"I won't let this one die in vain!" the human locked his hands on his Greatsword and started off down the sewer passages without looking back. He would go on, by himself if necessary. He couldn't blame the others if they too chose to leave, but Ahlias would not give up.

"Come if you will, or run, the choice will not change my course."

Alo enentually shrugged his shoulders, and turned to follow after Ahlias, but he paused briefly to pick up the magic missile scroll he'd scribed for Kyru before they set off. Then he ran after Ahlias.

Gorfan
HP:10/10
AC:14 (T:10, FF:14)

Gorfan watched as Amnile made his way swiftly towards the surface and Alhias and Alo making their respective decisions to continue on into the sewer....what should he do?

"In order to uphold Boldrei and the Sovereign Host, I shall continue forth!" The goodly cleric took a regretting look at the form of the disappearing monk and the dead elf before racing after Alhias and Alo.

Sharn Sewers

As the group traveled onward, they followed the path of the sewers. They trudged through the filthy and slimy waters.

Finally, they turned a corner and saw that down the hallway was a doorway, and standing in front of the doorway was a man, who seemed to be examining the door. He turns as he hears you coming and you can see that he looks human.

Ahlias
HP: 6
AC: 17

Ahlias turns to corner first and immedietly puts his Greatsword up in a defensive position (Full Defense +4 AC)

"And who are you stranger, show yourself!", the man shouted easily, ever ready.

Alo

Alo stopped behind Ahlias, and a little bit to the left. He could fight if he needed to from there, but Kyru's death had made him feel very vulnerable.

Soryn
HP:8
AC:15

The door before him was odd in itself, but the fact he was now not alone made him grimace just a bit. He had not expected anyone else here but the new information did not surprise him any either. He immediately turned at the same time Ahlias seemed to be shouting at him but said nothing. He simply stood to face him and someone behind him, debating whether or not to answer.

Gorfan became aware of the man...well, he seemed to be a man at any rate, not long after his companions in front of him did. Gorfan laid his hand briefly upon his warhammer and waited for the man to respond to their calls.

Soryn

"The better question would be who are all of you?!" He shouted so that it echoed here and uncovered anyone else who perhaps decided to intervene in what he was trying to do. "But if introductions are necessary....the name is Soryn." Now that he had answered, he shifted yet again to look at the door...attempting to examine it to make sure he could get in easily.

The Door to Yesterday

The door is actually more of a hatch. It is circular, and metal. It is engraved with arcane runes. In the middle of the hatch, there is a glowing circle of mithral.

The rest of you recognize the symbol as the same symbol on the book that Ahlias has with him, and was taken off of Bonal's corpse.

Soryn

Not wasting time waiting for a response from either of them, the examination of the door did nothing but motivate him to try and open it, perhaps to get an upper hand on the others who seemed to want to get in on his winnings from this find. He didn't intend on sharing any of the treasure with any of them. Hands would move to turn the hatch and open the door, thinking himself prepared for whatever lied on the other side.

The Door to Yesterday

As Soryn tries to open the door, he triggers a Trap!

Three orbs of acid magically appear and splash down. One of the orbs hits Soryn. (3 Acid Dmg)
