The artificer, horrified at the sudden turn of events, remembered his silk rope inside his pack and quickly tied to the nearest solid implement that would hold a rope while motioning to the others to help him while he threw down the rope to the falling warforged(assuming that the rope is tied to the side).

Collapsed Green Tunnel
The four of you huddle near the edge of the collapsed portion of the tunnel, looking down. However, the tunnel goes beyond the area of Mohan's light.
As the echoes of the collapse fade, you can all hear a buzzing, skittering and hissing sound. At the very edge of the light, you can see a swarm of bugs coming up the side of the wall from down below.
{OOC: Everyone roll initiative!}

Thanks to your low-light vision, you can see a beetle swarm coming towards you. They are leaving a slick yellow trail of acid in their wake. Also, there is something else down there with the beetles, climbing the walls towards you. It appears to be nothing more than a central eye, with 6 sharp legs sprouting out around it. It is avoiding the swarm, but still coming towards you.
{OOC: The monsters are down inside the hole still, about 30 ft down, or so.

The swarm of creatures seemed so great that the hole itself seemed to come alive with movement. They still had time before the creatures emerged, but it wasn't much. "Either we could attempt to destroy them one by one, or might I suggest something along the lines of explosive magic?" She thought about lava pouring down those walls and taking each creature with them. "Otherwise I'd say that it's time to start swinging."

Fortus had his light crossbow at the ready for due battle with the creatures swarming up the walls of the hole. The artificer hastily went into the process of infusing the light crossbow with Personal Weapon Augmentation which harboured the special ability of flaming.

Hazrad suddenly thought of something and searched his backpack quickly with one hand. Drawing out the flask of lantern oil he still carried, he shouted, "Everyone, get back....and get ready to light the oil!" He didn't want to throw it now, and likely smash it on Mohan or Jaiden....
