The Cairn

The party returns to the Cairn after a short walk, leaving behind the office.

They arrive at the entrance and it appears to be exactly as they left it. However, it does remain dark inside.

Slade

Making use of yet another sunrod, he begins to make his way back into the room where he had taken a huge fall, walking with the intent of focusing on any possible changes that might have occurred on the way there within this cairn to the walls or pathways but he didn't think there would be any.

Mohan

Mohan pulled out one of his torches and then lit it with his flint and steel, then motioned towards the tunnel.

"We should start with where Slade fell down, but we need to be careful still, something may still be alive down here."

Then he started walking carefully into the cairn.

Fortus

"Indeed it may yet have more secrets to reveal," Fortus stated while gazing at the sarcophogus,"" but the tunnel would be better for now"

Mohan

Mohan moved to the edge of the rock face and looked down. Climbing down with a lit torch would be difficult, so he handed it to Fortus, and instead picked up the ever burning torch they had found on their previous visit. Then he nodded.

"I'll go first. Slade will you follow after me? Then we can make certain it is safe."

Assuming Slade agrees, he will grip the ever burning torch between his teeth, and then follow the now familiar route fown the wall of the tunnel.

Hazrad

The halfling would follow Slade, keeping some distance to keep himself safe from harm. He was wary of this place, but that should hopefully soon pass.

Fortus

Fortus proceeds to climb down after Hazrad climbs down the rock face. As before, the going wasn't too tough on the way down. The artificer also makes sure to keep a safe climbing distance between himself and the cleric.

Mohan

Mohan reached the bottom, and then moved away from the bottom of the cliff face, to give the others room, and also so he could scout alittle while he waited for the others.

{OOC: I'll repost the Map and Room description. Note that the glyph mentioned can be seen in the Compass on the map.}

The room you are in has walls lined with dozens of bas-relief figures similar to the one on the sarcophagus lid in the room above. They stare disapprovingly from the walls here. Many sport crossed arms and stern expressions. A few of the statues' heads are missing, and some have huge chunks torn out of them. Others have a wierd melted appearance, as if they'd been sprayed by something terrible. A large glyph that looks like a stylized arrow points down a short corridor to the north that leads to a four-way intersection.

Slade

He had climbed down without much of a problem after Mohan. He took one moment to look at where he fell, seemingly thinking about something but without an expression to label it, it will probably go unnoticed. He juxtaposed himself to the right of Mohan and simply looked at the arrow. "What is our next action Mohan?"

Mohan

"Once everyone is down here, we very slowly explore the tunnel. It already collapsed once, so we should listen out for any other rumblings."
