Oh Shit - The Punisher, also using the sewers as his means of transportation, hears Omega Red approaching before he sees him.
One man, big guy, has metal on him, maybe a part of him. Did they guess? No, they wouldn't have come alone.

Backup plans ran through his mind, he had the Jormungandr toxins that could deal with nearly any Super-powered mass-murderor, but not enough to kill whoever this was, and ensure Thor died also.

No matter, The Universe provides...

With that, he set things up, finishing only climactic moments before Omega Red would round a turn and spot him, if the Russian hadn't already heard him.

---------------------

The Red Son stood before Bane, arms crossed, as though standing in judgement. "Batman was a terrorist who killed for much less than that, and he is dead now, by his own hand. I have not seen enough to judge you, but know that whatever you do, you will be watched."

In the Midst of the Red Son's speech, Mr. Sinister would have more than enough time to catch him unsuspecting of whatever nefarious plot he has in mind.

"You've gone loco Superman. Batman is as alive as either of us." Bane replied. It definately appeared that Superman was out of his mind. The suit and the accent were one thing, but everyone knew about the Justice League and how closely allied Batman and Superman were.

Omega walked through the sludge trying to sort things out. Who could have done this, why? He wasn't sure but he'd make sure to sap the life out of whoever it was. Suddenly Omega Red heard something coming from up ahead, right around the curve in the tunnel.

Red slowed down, he didn't want to let on to whatever it was, if it was anything, that he heard it. As his paced slowed the tentacle of his right arm slowly slid out and snaked down under the sludge, creeping forward slowly as to make no disturbance in the thick slush. The deadly pheremones that were secreted by Omega's pores began to come out at a more rapid pace. Inhaling these colorless and odorless pheremones would weaken and kill a normal human within minutes.

Omega Red's pace slowed down to all but a creep as the tunnel began to curve around to his left. As the Punisher came into view, for however brief those moments are before he undoubtedly opens fire with some sort of semi-automatic weapon, Omega had his first glimse as to why he was here. The punisher had taken on the Russian mob, the American mob, the Yakuza, the Yardies, the Kingpin, and countless other organized crime syndicates and murders. Now he was going to make his play at taking down Omega Red, the head of the Red Mafia.

His muscles tensed, ready to spring into action at whatever the Punisher had in store for him as he came in to view.

"Unnggghhh." a voice said as he rubbed his head, "Where da hell am I?" He asked as he opened his red on black eyes. Gambit looked around his surroundings, the middle of a deserted alley, and finding no immediate threats besides a crumbling fire escape about a yard to his left he stood up and, as so many others who arrived in this strange land, he brushed himself off.

Gambit took stock of his possesions. Finding everything where it should be he reached down and picked up his bow staff. Taking one last look around Gambit walked towards what he figured to be the entrance to alley.

Sinister watched the twos exchange and thought of the ploy he would use his eyes narrowed a little in his disguise as he moved forward in a slow sauntering almost fearful walk. As he grew closer to the back of the Red Son, he looked on Bane as if judging to see if Bane knew what he was doing. As he grew closer he looked at bane woefully and spoke in a trembling voice imitating an old man. "You should drive safely when ever you operate a motor vehicle, you brute! " Sinister hoped it would be enough to make Bane retort loudly, and then he could grab on to his Hero and hide from bane, while obtaining his sample. Sinister knew he only had a little more time to waste on these two before he would need to collect more samples from the others in this place. The Essex factor could be cultivated from many here, and he knew that at least one of the more notible villans of the day, Dr. Doom, was here, and the plague of Manhatten Venom was here too.

The Red Son briefly considers the response... The WAS a man who seemed to know him, dressed in a costume resembling batman, he'd assumed it was just another imitator, after the original who'd killed himself rather than be captured all those years ago. Something about the wholehearted confusion in Bane's statement, as though he were talking about a completely different person.

The giant WAS talking about a completely different person, a different world, where he'd been raised as an American, allied against the Soviet Union, benevolent to his adopted people. No wonder everyone here, American though they might be, thought of him as a savior!

It all made sense now, and so he responded... "I think, Comrade, that I am not who you think I am, no matter what I look like."

---------------------

Both Cannisters of the JORMUNGANDR toxin were upright, still on their dolly. Omega Red might notice the blasting caps attached to the top as he didn't have much time to conceal his efforts, and as the soviet came into view, he cursed beneath his breath, just before pulling the trigger on his raised rifle.

He knew it wouldn't do any good, the very same ammo that had blasted a hole through half of Deadpool's head wouldn't do much more than knock Omega Red down, if that. Hell, it'd taken a Nuke to kill him last time, and it's a good thing he'd come to terms with his enemies rising from the grave after seeing Venom too, or he'd never have had the presence of mind to book it after taking that shot.

and run away he does, away from Omega Red and his nearly invulnerable body, through the sewers...

Venom

As gambit neared the alley, he would hear the sounds of banging metal, and might even have enough time to duck from a stray garbage can that was coming flying out of the ally.

Inside the alley, partially hidden by the shadows, was a person, who sounded quite frustrated, and appeared to be diggering through the garbage looking for something. The trash-digger gave no sign of noticing Gambit's approach.

"Silence you stupid old bastard!" Bane shouted at the old man, then returned his attention to Superman.

"It would explain why you've turned into a Russian." He commented to The Red Son. "So how 'bout you let me go on my way, and I promise I'll stay out of trouble." Bane lied.

Thor tapped his hand against Mjolnir, and then spoke up. "I shall seek out the coward whom attacked us earlier. Should thou require my aid, I will come as fast as one of my lighting bolts." Then he walked from the door to the building and out into the street. He heard the sound of gunfire coming from a drain. It was muted after echoing through the sewer tunnels, but it sounded similar to the gunshot that had almost killed Deadpool. Thor walked into the middle of the street, and pulled a manhole cover off with one hand, then dropped down into the gloom of the sewer tunnel.

Shadowcat turned and cast Spiderman a half smile and a slight shake of her head.
"Last thing I remember was crawling under my covers, next thing I knew I was wide awake and standing in the middle of an empty street with a pounding headache...Sorry, not much to offer in the ways of how I got here.."

Spider-Man

"Hmm... How strange. The rest of us seemed to be involved in some sort of combat. But you were just going to sleep. There doesn't seem to be any clear line of reasoning on how we all got here, let alone anything to indicate what we can do to get back home."

There it was. Just as Omega Red had suspected, not a moments hesitation by the Punisher. But Omega Red would not hesitate either. As frank Castle pulled the trigger of his riffle the tentacle that had snaked its way in front of Omega Red whipped up through the sludge sending the foul, stagnate crud through the tunnel as it raced towards The Punisher's left leg. A moment later the bullet slammed into Omega Red's left shoulder sending him into the wall of the sewer.

This wasn't the first time Omega Red had been shot, and likely wouldn't be the last. And as such Omega Red didn't let it phase him. Although he wouldn't get the tentacle to wrap around the Punisher's leg as well as he would have liked he should still be able to get it to wrap a little, possibly tripping the Punisher depending on how fast he had turned and ran. If any contact was made Omega Red would immedietly begin to drain the life force out of The Punisher.

----------------------------------------------------------

Gambit was attempting to sort things out in his head as to where he could be and why he could be here when those thoughts were interupted by a flying garbage can. Gambit ducked the wayward trash receptical easily and was quickly on the defensive. Three cards already in his hand, glowing with kinetic energy, his bow staff fully extended and ready for action.

His eyes scanned the alley in front of him quickly and came to rest upong a figure digging through the garbage. The spider on the costume brought thoughts of a super hero he had worked with before, Spiderman, to mind but this couldn't be the same web head. This character was too big and the costume too black. Gambit stood up slowly, eyeing the creature as he did so before it came to him. Of course, who else would copy Spiderman's signature symbol but the costume he once wore. Gambit kept a ready stance, after all this was an on again off again homicidal maniac from what he had heard in passing about Venom, his cards illuminating the alley in front of him.

"Kin I help ya find somethin'?" Gambit said, his usual cocky/charming smile on his lips and glint of danger in his eyes.

"Definately strange this. I've no idea how we're going to get back home, but it might be worth trying to find out why there's nobody here but us?" Union Jack broke into the conversation. He was tempted to go after Thor, but he decided that the norse god of thunder could probably look after himself.

"This is a ghost town, you can tell from the state of the buildings. Something did that." Jack replied.

Spider-Man

"Good point. But how long have these buildings been like this? The destruction that happened here could be months or years old. No guarantee that it will have anything to do with us.

But I guess its the best lead we've got. May as well follow it."

Gambit let the cards uncharge but kept them in his hand and at the ready. Gambit wasn't sure of much about this guy other then what he's heard in passing. Venom sounded mad but not quite the homicidal lunatic that had been described to Gambit.

He wasn't sure where he was or why he was there. Venom might try to rip his throat out, but he might know where they were so Gambit decided he would take his chances and not listen to the hulking symbiot, plus he'd love to get some retribution for the "scumbag" remark.

"Where do ya suppose we are, mon frere?"

Venom

Venom turns to Gambit, and yells "I said get out of here!" as he picks up a chunk of broken wall and hurls the rock slab at the mutant.

Gambit sprang in to motion, jumping deftly to the other side of the alley, dodging the chunk of wall. Gambit's hand came up on instinct, the cards held by it glowing fiercely with the kinetic energy Gambit began to charge. Gambit didn't throw the cards, though. He held them for a moment, staring at Venom. An altercation between the two wouldn't solve anything. It wasn't that Gambit didn't think he could handle the symbiot. In fact Gambit was certain he'd be able take him, he'd taken bigger and badder. There were more important things at hand, like where he was and why. Who else is here? These were things Gambit decided couldn't be figured out by fighting with Venom, no, the symbiot doesn't know anything. Gambit would have more luck ignoring Venom.

And so he did. Gambit let the energy flow back in to him and put the cards away as he turned around and left the alley. As the he neared the street he heard several people talking, maybe they'll know where here is.

Venom

Venom forced himself to turn away from Gambit's retreating form, even though he sorely wanted to rip the man's skull off. Eddie Brock's head felt like it was going to explode. The symbiont wanted to feed, and Eddie was fighting it. It took all of Eddie's willpower to restrain himself. Where was a hershey bar when you needed one?
