Lowthor

Idea Man
Throughout time and space in an infinite number of universes, all across the multiverse, something searched. Whether it was an intelligence by our definition of the word may never be known, but it was looking for something. intelligence in fact, and it found them. At points along many different timelines, they were taken. Each always taken during battle. Perhaps it was their struggles that attracted the force and that is why they were taken.

In the universes from which they were taken, this was a day of mixed blessings. Those that had tormented them were taken, but so were their saviors. To them it was a cataclysm. To those that were taken, when they gazed out over the ruined urban wasteland they had been transported to, it was a strange new world with numerous battles laid out ahead of them.

The Desire for Power/The Desire for Chaos

The blue eyes of Alexander Luthor fluttered open to take in the scene around him.

It appeared to have once been a normal penthouse...but that was (generously speaking) by a great stretch of the imagination. Lex pushed himself to his feet, brushing the dust off his $2,000 suit. He closed his eyes and fought back the urge to faint. "One of these days, I'm going to invest in better security. I find myself unconscious way too often for my liking." He smirked to himself.

"Great...now I'm talking to myself, again. How many times do I have to go crazy in my life?"

He looked around the room, seeing nothing familiar. His father had to be behind this, somehow. Lex sighed, remembering how everything was going so smoothly back home. Lana had finally accepted his marriage proposal and was soon to bear him a child. Lex briefly smiled, thinking of finally having a happy and stable family to come home to.

But first, he had to get away from...here. Where ever here is.

"Bloody Hell...what part of the Dreaming am I in?"

The Corinthian looked around, standing in the middle of ruined park. He smiled, speaking to himself, "I don't know where I am, but I kind of like it." Sharply inhaling and exhaling dramatically, he strolled out of the ruined park, humming Cyndi Lauper's "Time After Time" to himself.

The eerie red eyes looked upon Lexs form as he slowly brushed his clothing of the dust. Mr. Sinister almost went through the same routine when he got here, but with a stark lack of caring for his clothing. The Crumbling buildings made it perfect for one to remain in the shadows out of sight of the new visitors who seemed to be comming in greater quanities. His Pale complextion gleemed brightly as he walked into the sun light looking at Lex. His slicked back black hair reflecting the light quaintly as he raised a hand towards lex his palm open " And you would be who? Mr. Clean perhaps ? " He said his cold voice bouncing lightly off the buildings and rubble round them.

Peter Parker
A.K.A. Spider-Man

The young man named Peter Parker sat in his workshop, stuffing fresh cartridges of webbing fluid into his web-shooters. He also slipped several spare cartridges into his belt before putting it around his waist. He donned the rest of his red and blue costume before heading back to the bedroom.

Inside, he sat down on the covers, and leaned over the woman under them. Her fiery red hair was draped over her face, and Peter brushed it back tenderly so he could kiss her goodnight.

Moments later, Peter Parker no longer existed. Spider-Man was swinging through the sky of New York City, hunting for one of his greatest foe's.

Word on the street was that Venom was back in town. That was breaking the truce that the wall-crawler and the mauler had forged at their last encounter. The deal was Venom stayed in San Francisco, and didn't hurt anyone who was innocent, and Spidey stayed out of his way.

--------------------------------------------------------------

Eddie Brock, and the Alien Symbiote
A.K.A. Venom

Venom... The being that was once a combination of Eddie Brock and an alien shape-shifting symbiote. They were now inseparable.

Venom sat vertically against the wall of one of the skyscrapers. His costume turned him invisible to the naked eye, and Spider-Man's 6th sense couldn't detect him. And neither could the bum that Venom had tracked all the way across the country to kill; The same bum that had committed murder right in the heart of the city that Venom made into his home.

Venom was going to rip his head off.

The bum was there, in the alleyway. Venom climbed down the wall, close enough that he could smell the stench of his target's unwashed body. A long thin tendril of black ooze from the symbiote stretched out from the back of Venom's hand and wrapped around the neck of the poor soul. With his neck being crushed, he couldn't scream for help. He body was quickly wrapped up in the goo, and Venom carried him up the side of the wall.

"You wanna kill someone? You wanna hurt people? Well, you are in for a special treat, pal. You're going to get a first-class lesson in the subject." Venom's taunts were whispered into the man's ear. At the top of the building, the black tendrils that were keeping the man bound suddenly retracted. The man screamed as he fell from countless stories.

He would've died upon impact, but somewhere between floor 15 and floor 16, a red and blue blur swept him out of the sky, and set him safely on the ground, bound by sticky white webs, similar to a spider's web.

Within moments, Spider-Man was back at the top of the skyscraper, facing Venom. "Sorry, Mr. Venom. I always had trouble paying attention in class." Spidey quipped as he slammed his fist against Venom's jaw.

Venom responded with his own meaty-fist driving into Spider-Man's gut, causing the wind to rush out of his lungs. "Stay out of this! Its not your concern!"

The battle probably would have gone on from there, except something interrupted them both...

The pair of them both woke up in a strange new place. And both of them were looking at their new surroundings. Forced into yet another truce, this one unspoken, that neither trusted the other to uphold, but without a choice, they halted their battle. At least long enough to find out what in the world had just happened to them both.

The Mighty Thor

"Foul knave, thy treachery ends this day." Thor bellowed then raised his hammer; Mjolnir. Bluish white lightning crackled around the hammer, and he drew it back, ready to strike down his half-brother Loki. Then just as he was about to send the lightning arching through the air, there was a flash.

When his vision cleared, he was elsewhere. This was not the snowy tundra that had staged that battle. He was in a city. It could have been New York, LA, London or Berlin, but it was clearly none of those, the landmarks were absent. He let out a rage filled shout and unleashed the lightning stored in his hammer into the sky. The sight of a bolt of lightning travelling upwards would be visible throughout much of the cityscape.

Batman

Killer crock ducked the batarang, then hurled the slab of concrete he'd picked up. Batman jumped to the right, rolled, and was about to rise to his feet. There was a fire escape above him, he could swing from it and strike at croc. That didn't happen though. There was a flash of light, then he was in a strange room. It seemed to be a penthouse by the looks of things, and there were others there. A bald man, he looked like Luthor, but much younger. There was also a pair of red eyes looking out from the shadows.

Union Jack

Terrorists again? This was getting stupid. MI5 wouldn't support him anymore, nor would shield, so he was in danger of getting his arse kicked here. They were mercenaries, not terrorists. He recognised a couple of them, and he was definately up against it. Oh well, on with the job at hand. He vaulted the rail, pulled out his pistol and fired at the hulking figure at the other side of the room. Then he landed and took the legs out from under the woman with the sword. Then everything went white.

There were two men before him, and he knew them both. Spiderman and Venom. He didn't remember encountering either of them in person before, but he knew about them well enough, and he wore the costume of Union Jack. He was the third to wear the mask, but after the actions in the two world wars of the first two incarnations, it was a pretty famous mask. Not Captain America, but still famous in these kinds of circles.

Bane

"You do not cross me." Bane said as he stepped across the now broken form of his former hired gun. He was staring a rage filled stare at the others before him. This had been his plan to retake Gotham, but that ******* idiot had sold him out to the Penguin.

Flash! Where the **** was he. It looked like a ruined stadium of some sorts. This couldn't get any better could it.

When Braniac betrayed him, and indeed, betrayed the world, it had been Lex Luthor of all people that had come to the rescue. The android would have had the entire universe perfectly ordered... No, Enslaved - but luthor had shut the android down, and The Red Son destroyed it.

An act that had only paved the way for an even greater danger to the world, annhilation. The ship, Braniac's ship that the Comrade of steel was now shoving through space in an attempt to take it as far from earth as possible before it exploded. He almost felt glad, in a way, leaving the world behind, after he'd been manipulated like that by Braniac. Even if he somehow survived, the Red Son had already set...

Moments before the cosmos-shaking explosion, his surroundings changed, he was back on... Earth again?

No, it wasn't earth, it was somewhere else. There were people here, he recognized a few of them, terrorist superhumans the Americans had recruited in the fight against him and the Motherland. But, different somehow - he must look odd to them as well, different clothing, different scars, but the same face and body. Why would these men save me? They've been trying to kill me for decades!

"Hi! Nice to meet you, they call me Deadpool. Funny story that, back in the Weapon X program I was one of the professor's sweethearts, odds were I was NEVER going to be the one to die, and after so much betting went into the "deadpool" I got up a thousand to one odds!

Those kinda've odds on your living does something to a man, drives you a little PSYCH-O, they're like Cheerios, but 10x more crazy fun for kids! Tried to get myself killed, y'know, fuck with the odds. Trouble was, never could manage it. Being a failure at trying to kill yourself is really some kind of Grade-A high class failure, know it?

I sure do.

Anyways, I may just be ink and words, and these just be little yellow boxes with my thoughts in them, but just remember, I seee you!"

With that, Deadpool takes a bow before... Well, no-one's around to hear his little speech. But he's somewhere new, so what the hell. Introductions were in order.

Now! Off to find someone in this inter-dimensional cleft of dimension.

---------------------

Self-righteous bastards, all of them. Superheroes, supervillians, they're all the same, fighting their great fights and taking each other alive for god knows what reason. The rest of us just get caught up in the crossfire, good people, like my wife, and my kids, we get killed just because we don't have super-speed or super-strength.

Looks like one of them wanted me out of the way too, transport me somewhere else, too scared to come after the killer mortal Frank Castle. Too scared to let me run free, keep killing all them super-bastards. Well, I'll just have to find a way back won't I? And if there are more worthless sacks of shit to get out of the way, so be it.

The Punisher, after this extended soliloquy, strikes out through the wilderness he's found himself in, coming into sight of Spider-Man, Venom, and Union Jack before too long. He keeps himself concealed, and his mind blank, he knows the Spiders have some kind of telepathy that warns them when someone's thinking unkind thoughts about them, or about to do something dangerous to them. He knows it, and so he keeps watching with a face pale as snow, because he's thinking, What the hell? I already killed those two!

Venom and Spider-Man

Venom launches himself at Union Jack, trying to grapple the stranger, who he doesn't recognize and pin him. "Who are you? Why did you bring us here? Answer, or I'll rip that stupid mask off, and your face with it."

Spider-Man stands back and says "Uh, I don't think he has anything to do with this. Not intentionally at least.

Judging by your costume, I'd guess you are Union Jack, right? I know you british guys are big on saving face, but I didn't think I would ever see it applied to a situation like this."

Union Jack was expecting to be avoiding a sword swing, not trying to fend of venom. He was as strong and fast as a normal human with his frame could be, but this was Venom. Venom had little difficulty in pinning him to the ground, but hadn't managed to remove his mask before Spiderman spoke.

"I don't even know where we are nevermind how we ended up there. Now would you mind getting off me Venom before I start shooting."

He still had his pisttol in his hand, and he pressed the barrel to Venom's side. Frankly he had no idea if it would do any damage, but the odds are it would serve better than the silver dagger in his belt.

((SJ. Are you playing Pre-Civil War Spidey? As of the latest issues, Parker is known to be Spiderman after unmasking on TV))

{OOC: I think its pre-civil war, since I don't recall reading about that.

Yes, his identity is still hidden, although Venom obviously knows it. I also don't remember ever hearing that the Punisher killed him or venom either. }

Spider-Man and Venom

Spider-Man says "Venom, let him up. He's not our enemy here."

Venom looks like he's debating whether or not to actually do it for a moment before he roughly shoves Jack aside. "If he's not the one who brought us here, then what is he doing here with us? We don't like this!" He punches the ground, leaving a hole where his fist broke through. Still staring at Jack, Venom looks like he'd rather have punched the brit instead.

Spider-Man starts looking around, trying to get his bearings. "I wish I knew. You got any ideas, Jack?"

"Unless New York and Los Angeles had a love child that I didn't hear about, I've not a clue mate." He replied as he climbed to his feet, then holstered his pistol.

"Wouldn't have expected to see you two..." He started to speak, then looked up to the sky as a massive bolt of lightning shot upwards into the night.

Magneto

The air around this new area crackled briefly before an intense blast sent an electromagnetic pulse, signaling the arrival of a manipulative mutant whose entry into this place would probably be noticed by many. Red and an odd shade of purple adorned this individual's body and the helmet he wore was unmistakeable. Obvious surprise overtook him given his surroundings and he wondered if Charles had suffered the same fate. With Genosha just recently having been restored to its former glory, this turn of events enfuriated the powerful mutant to no end. He appeared a mile away from the location where Spiderman/Venom and those with the duo were situated and took this time to survey the area with disdain. He was sure that if this place was inhabited by humans, they would be no different than any others. Easy levitation after a loud sigh had him heading in the direction of Spiderman and Venom, confusion racking his already sensitive mental state. Whatever this place was, he was not supposed to be here and he intended to find out why he was.

Dr. Doom

Latveria had been well taken care of and that wretched Richards was temporarily disposed of. With ephemeral peace allowing him to work on his next creation, a simple blink of an eye had him and several of his servo guards in the vicinity of Luther, Batman and the rest with them. The metallic clanks of his small landing gave full note to his mind that he had been thrust into some other sort of area by some outside force. To think that someone attempted to manipulate Doctor Doom! Confusion was wasted away and anger was all that resided though it quickly coupled with arrogance as he contemplated about several things. Propelled by his jetpacks, he aimed to find a high vantage point, which coincidentally allowed him to view the area where Batman and Luther were and consequentially here what was going on there. He already dearly missed Latveria and saw this place as nothing more than an impedance for his quest for world domination!

Spider-Man and Venom

Venom looked over in the direction of Thor's Lightning. "I ain't no egg-head like the Spider-Man, but Lightning usually goes down. Not up."

Spider says "Venom, you are more observant than I give you credit for. I'm Shocked by this revelation.

But jokes aside, I think we should check out the source. Maybe there is a clue there about why we are here. Do you want to come with, Jack? One of us can give you a lift, if you don't have your own transportation. And it probably wouldn't be a bad idea for us to stick together."

He says this as he aims his wrist towards one of the broken shells of a tall building. Turning his palm upward, and pressing the trigger hidden in his glove, a thin strand of webbing fires with a soft 'FWIP', and attaches to the building. A moment later, Venom points his fist towards another building. A similar line fires from the back of his hand, although it looks to be the same shade of color as the rest of his costume. "Speak for yourself, runt. This ain't no passenger flight."

"I left my rocket pack in my other jeans", Union Jack replied and then walked to the edge of the building. "You'd better give me a lift"

Bane had left the ruined stadium, and was trying to find out where he was. He attempted to get a car started, and after a few attempts it did erupt into lift. At least the technology here worked. Then he drove from the stadium on the edge of what looked like a large entertainment complex, down a hill into the area where the skyscrapers were at their most dense.

Maybe I'm dead, maybe this is hell. They must have got me.

No, I still feel real, still looks real, just ghosts tormenting my eyes. Where I'm going when I die will be a whole lot worse than this. Going to have to be sure the supers stay there when I send'em off this time.

Still in a cold sweat, The Punisher just watched Spidey, Venom, and (soon to be) Union Jack swing away. He wasn't shocked for very long, just doesn't have the tools on him to take down three supers on such short notice. He can't match their manuverability either, not while staying out of sight anyhow, best to sit back for now and plan out how this will go.

Spider-Man

Spider-Man lets Union Jack climb onto his back, and then swings off towards the source of the lightning bolt they saw. Venom trails a little bit behind.

About half-way there, Venom turns away and heads in a different direction, leaving just Spider-Man and Union Jack to land near where Thor's lightning was spotted.

"Where did Venom go? I don't like having him sneak around." He lets Jack down, and looks around, trying to see anything that could be the source of the lightning.

Venom

Venom spots something purple floating in the air about a mile away. He veers off and starts heading towards Magneto. In less than a minute, he reaches the mutants location. Hanging from the side of a wall, he takes in the sight of the floating master of magnetism. "Well, now... What have we here? A flying man in a cape? What freakshow did you escape from?"

The figure of the Asgardian God of Thunder stood in the middle of a ruined highway, complete with winged helm and cape. He held Mjolnir in his right hand as if it weighed nothing at all, yet no other would even be able to lift it. He did not notice the arrival of Spiderman and Union Jack, for he looked to the horizon away from them, in thought as to where he was and how he had come to be here.

The purple clad master of magnetism noticed the arrival of Venom and immediately decided to land. Silence overcame him while he continued to stare at Venom with mild curiousity. The symbiotic being didn't seem to be as intellectual as someone like Charles but not many could be truly. "I assure you that it was much better than wherever you came from....friend." Another once-over for Venom and then nothing more than a simple wait for a response. He idly wondered what other sort of creatures resided here. If Venom was any sort of indication, perhaps this would be worth looking into.

Venom

Venom stayed hanging from the wall, looking down at Magneto.

"Friend, huh? And just why would we want to be friends with you? Unless you know how to get us home, I'd just as soon rip out your liver than look at you."

A dark, dark room.../A sun-shiny day

Lex had long ago giving up being startled by the sudden appearance of people. His former friend Clark had a huge hand in breaking him of that. He looked first to the shadowy figure with glowing red eyes and pale skin, then to the shadowy figure who's costume vaguely resembled a bat.

"My father hires you two to take me hostage and bring me to this place and he doesn't even give you enough money for better costumes?" It may have been stupid to play it gutsy this early in the game, but a Luthor must never seem to be out of control. "What do you want?"

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Happily strolling along, the Corinthian came upon no one else in this city. "Empty place...must be some nightmare." He ran his hand along a wall. It felt like such misery and glorious, glorious pain.

The Corinthian danced around in the streets, humming some classical tune to himself and soaking up the ambience of darker, foul emotions that saturated this place.

"Heaven..." he whispered to himself as he continued to traipse along.

"Luthor" Batman almost growled the word. It had to be Luthor behind this, so Clark must be around here somewhere. Luthor couldn't leave Superman out of things, they were forever linked, at least in Lex's mind.

"What is this?"

Union Jack dropped from Spiderman's back before the webslinger's feet his the floor. He landed casually and then looked around.

"He headed off into that cluster of buildings for some reason. Arn't we better off without him anyway?" He pointed to where Venom had departed towards.
