Spider-Man

"Its kind of a 'friends close, enemies closer' thing. The problem with Venom is that you can never be completely sure which side of that line he's on at any given moment. I'm not so sure that if he finds a way out of this place, he'd be inclined to share that information with either of us before he hops on the bus home.

Anyways, lets find where that lightning came from. I'm heading up top to get a better view."

Spider-Man jumps up to the side of a building and starts climbing higher, until he can see for a fair distance. He'll look around for anything that looks like it might have been the source of the Lightning.

Sinisters eyes seemed to grow brighter for a moment, before he spoke " Such insolence from a mere home sapiens " His voice cold sounding almost aloof. His eyes turned towards the caped crusader as a smirk appeared to twinge at the edge of his lips. " So, we have Mr. Clean, and you are ? He said with a cool tone. Clearly he seemed somewhat interested in the pair of them or he wouldn't have wasted his breath upon them. It was then he noticed certain mechanical drones moving in around them.

Sinister knew immediately whose control they were under and that it simply would be a waste of time to tangle with Doom at the moment. Sinister may have had the know how of how to defeat dooms minions, yet somehow Doom had Minions, and Sinisters Marauders and the Nasty boys were not here that he could find. He would need to get to work on getting their clones ready if there was to be a war of numbers. Looking around for a moment he suddenly vanished having teleported across town into a rundown shack of a building before changing his appearance. If Doom was here then others were most likely here as well. It was unthinkable that Dooms Doombots would be after Sinister, although they flew in similar circles scientifically, Sinister was a shadow, where Doom was a giant flaming pyre in their world.

As a humble looking elderly man walked out of the shack he could only think one thing if Doom was here then the Fantastic Four would be as well. This was certainly an opportunity that Sinister could not allow to slip through his fingers.

Magneto

Typical that this creature would be of the brutish variety. The fact that he spoke as if he were more than just one person was noted but potentially discarded as the display of bravado and empty words fell short of impressing this man at all. "It was a simple attempt at conversation is all. A solution to this...tch...problem is currently eluding me but I will find one. Brute force is not always needed to solve problems"

Venom

"Oh great... Another Intellectual.

We just got rid of a snot-nosed egg-head kid, and now we find an old-geezer with the same problem.

You'd be surprised how often that brute force thing works."

Venom jumped down from the wall and landed next to Magneto. "Who are you anyways?"

Magneto

"Magneto"

There wasn't much else the man wanted to say to the man as his comment was well-noted. So many times had he witnessed Juggernaut successfully use his primitive tactics to succeed.

"So what do I call you?"

Venom

"We are Venom. Spider-Man is here too, along with another guy calling himself Union Jack. They went off looking for some lightning.

Why aren't you afraid of us, old man? Few people just stand there and have a conversation with someone who looks like me."

"Batman, and what about you?" He responded to Sinister, but never received a reply. Luthor hadn't responded, but he was now more concerned by the Doombots. From his utility belt he took out a pair of Batarangs and readied himself for a fight.

"I'm really wishing this job came with super powers of late" Jack shook his head and decided to walk around the base of the building in order to see what lay beyond.

Thor's scanning the horizon from ground level told him very little about where he was. He would need to go higher to try and spot some landmarks. The Thunder God rose upwards into the air until he was hovering a few feet higher than the tallest building nearby. That building happened to be the one Spiderman had climbed, and which Union Jack was walking around the base of.

Spider-Man

Spider-Man looks at the God of Thunder. His spider sense doesn't give off any twinges of danger from the man at the moment, so he decides to play the part of the friendly neighbor. "Pardon me, Do you know how to get to the nearest extradimensional portal? We're new to this Universe, you see, and we could use some directions."

Thor turned in the air to face Spiderman, at first his face was stern as though he was considering whether to fight or speak, then it was broken by a friendly grin. "Well met Spiderman. Tis indeed welcome to see a familiar face. Alas I know not where we are."

Spider-Man

The confusion might have been hidden on Parker's face by the mask, but not from his words. "You talk like you know me. Have we met before?"

"We have not met Spiderman, but I know of you. My fellow Avengers have spoken of you upon occasion." Thor replied. He landed atop the building, and fastened Mjolnir to his belt.

"I am Thor. Well met." He offered his right hand in greeting to the webslinger.

Spider-Man

"I've heard of the Avengers. Another super group like the X-Men. Well, its nice to meet you. A shame it wasn't under better circumstances. Have you met Union Jack? He's down below."

Spider-Man shakes hands with a god, apparently.

Things were getting a little too chaotic for Lex.

First, the costume twiddle-dumb and twiddle-dumber, now these...what were these? Robots? Luthorcorp had spent much time trying to build a working model of the standard android, and here they were, fully functional. It was also at this time, he realized his father had little, if anything, to do with his current predictament.

The man in the costume removed a couple of oddly shaped boomerangs, causing Lex to laugh. "I don't see how those are of much use against these androids. By the way, every time you say my name, you almost spit it out. You don't resemble anyone I've wronged in the past 27 years of my life. So how do you fit into all this?"
--------------------------------------------------------------------------

So much delicious horror.

This nightmarish dreamscape positively glammered with foul creatures that could chill the bones of any human he'd ever known. The man with the crawling black skin and his floating cohort conversed calmly.

In the sky above, he observed a thunderous being of fury and lightening and a man in red and blue pyjamas carrying on a conversation. The Corinthian smiled three times, drinking in all the unholy terror that these creatures could unleash once they were freed from this dream.

"I wonder if the Dream King will let me and this rabble have a bit of fun? It would be so delightful to hear the panicked screams of..." Something felt odd about all this. The Corinthian sensed something...a feeling. He couldn't quite place his finger on it.

Suddenly, it hit him like a bolt of lightening. "This isn't a dreamscape." He understood that he was now in a tangible reality. "And these beings, they are not nightmares...they are dreamers." A vicious smile crossed the Corinthians lips...all three of them at once.

Magneto

"I have seen many creatures Venom, some much more odd-looking than you."

The fact Spiderman was here sparked Magneto's attention but the red/blue nuisance was none of his concern at this point. Venom mildly interested him at this point, but the intrigue could easily dissolve in a matter of seconds.

Doctor Doom

The Doombots circled the Latverian leader, clad in his technologically enhanced armor and staring with narrowed eyes into the sky as he witnessed Thor. He had attempted to steal that god's power once before and while it was tempting him yet again he noticed the attention he had garnered and simply remained where he was. Was this some foul ploy by Richards to get him here with these people? He continued to contemplate on the issue and realized Spiderman was in the area too which made him practically snarl. He quickly began to realize he was not in the best of places now, but he'd hold his ground and strategize....for now.

Almost as quickly as Mr.Sinister vanished a new man came into being in this strange world. His body was covered in black armor, and upon his back lay a large sword, that was roughly seven feet long and a foot across, one made to kill a dragon in a single swing. Casting a steely gaze from his left eye upon the forms of the Doombots. They certainly were not apostles nor where they demons but they certainly were not appearing to be friendly. His right eye socket was empty with a eye lid closed tightly against the breeze. A clear scared notch dipped into the bridge of his nose. Speaking in a low voice almost a growl " What the hell are these things ? " he said almost as if expecting an answer from his party, but they were not with him. He could at least feel the words of the witch still fresh in his mind. So it would be possible for him to use his armor if all else failed. For once he felt the brand upon his neck cool as if he was not at the gates of the dead anymore. Lifting his Right hand back he grabbed the hilt of his sword which others had compared more to a slab of iron rather than a sword and lifted it making it appear effortless as he looked on the mechanical beasts .

The Red Son flew skywards, up so high he broke through the sky, took a look at the world from space.

And he heard.

He was listening for the voices of distress, wherever he was, he'd be needed. What he heard was something different, The American President, no, a younger version of him, He'd recognize that voice anywhere.

he was talking with others, he didn't recognize the voices, but from the sounds of the conversation, they hadn't the slightest idea where they were either, or what had happened. Nevertheless, if anyone at all could figure out what had happened, it would be Luthor.

And just now in the Conversation, a man universally recognized as Superman, just with the Russian Hammer and Sickle in the place of the conventional "S" on his costume, hovers down in front of Lex Luthor and the assembled menagerie of superbeings around him. "What seems to be the problem, Comrades?"

-------------------------

"Heeeey, Spidey! How's MJ?" Deadpool came on the scene with a wave to the Spider-twins and company, keeping it cryptic enough for folks who haven't yet read the Civil War series and don't know how Parker bared it all on national TV. He's genuinely jovial with a psychotic grin hidden beneath his mask.

Spider-Man

Turning away from Thor to look at Deadpool, Spider-Man says "Ya know guys, I'm starting to feel like this is one of those gameshows where everyone i know is paraded out in front of me, except instead of people I know, Its all the people who know me, and I've never met.

So, Tall, Dark, and Red, Who are you and how do you know me?"

Thor shook his head and walked to the edge of the building. Union Jack had now reached this side. "Twas two score years ago or more that I met Union Jack." He said.

Union Jack, looked up when he got to the other side of the building, expecting to see Spiderman, but instead spotting a large blond haired man dressed as a viking god. It could be the actual god. His predecessor had fought alongside Thor in the past afterall.

The batarangs would not be much use against the Doombots alone, but Batman next removed two electronic scramblers. He'd taken to carrying them of late after the amount of robots he'd been expected to help deal with as part of the JLA. Then the red son appeared. He looked like Clark, but the voice and the costume were not right.

"Superman?" Batman asked.

Bane nearly mowed the old man down, as he swerved around a corner. He brought the car screaching to a halt, then climbed out of the car and walked over to the old man, swearing and ready to tear him limb from limb.

As the Car squealed past where Sinister had been he chuckled a little just as the car came to a stop. For a moment he expected someone to jump out and start apologizing. However when the man jumped out of the car is was quiet clear that, that was not the mans intent. With so many heroes in the area it could be beneficial to let this maniac attack him. Knowing he could do little damage to Sinister. A Smile seemed to overshadow the Old mans lips as he opened it and screamed for help in a voice like an old man who was being stabbed "HELP HELP SOMEONE HELP ME" he screamed. The maniac from the car didn't seem to hold any real abilities from what Sinister could see, although perhaps a genetic sample from him and his hero who ever it was could be enough to get himself some temporary replacements for the nasty boys.
