Soryn
HP:21
AC:16

Confused by what was going on, he gripped on his rapier and decided against attacking the thing while it has consumed their warforged.

"Gorfan, how can we get rid of this thing?!"

He was truly annoyed, not wanting to stand around and simply be felled by some little blob. There had to be something but right now he could not grasp anything.

Gorfan
HP: 22/22 (3 non-lethal)
AC: 16 (T:10, FF:16)

Gorfan was in a slight quandary as to how to bring down the blob...and then recalled something he had read on oozes...he was almost sure it could only be damaged via magic weapons. The cleric turned and cast magic weapon upon Soryn's rapier as the elf had better mobility than the dwarf in armour.

(OOC: Magic Weapon grants a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls)

Round 2
Concluded

Brass is blinded by the light, and so stunned, he drops his weapon.

Soryn looks to his companion for aid, and Gorfan responds by casting a spell over Soryn's weapon.

Just as Brass' sight begins to return, the blob of light forms a little tendril and slams it against Brass. (1 dmg) sending another shower of dazzling light to dance before Brass's eyes.
{OOC: WIll Save, Brass. You are still Stunned for 1 more round, but no longer blind.}

Round 3
Begin

{OOC: No changes to map or initiative.}

Brass
HP: 24/27 (Non-lethal: 3)
AC: 18

Brass shrugs off the minor attempt to hurt him (DR 3/Adamantine), Sure, he wasn't blind any more; however he didn't know that at the time, since all he would see was searing white light.

Will Save (1d20=14)

Gorfan, while Soryn attempted to hit the blob, cast his last magic weapon spell for the day on his warhammer.

Battle Concluded

With magically enhanced weapons, both Gorfan and Soryn find that their combined attacks are enough to finish off the blob of light. As its glow fades, it dissipates and disappears. Brass still stands there, unmoving, unresponsive. However, the effect fades, and he returns to normal within a matter of seconds.

Soryn

"Well that was interesting"

He saw that Brass was pretty much back to normal so he moved around the room now and toward the door he had seen or at least thought he saw before him.

Soryn

Still ever wary, he examined the door for traps before moving to open it.

((Take 20 so it becomes 27))

Soryn

Given his belief that the door itself was free of traps, he moved to open it and see what he would find.

(W20)

Soryn opens the room and finds a short passage( about 10' long and wide) leading to a larger room, approximately 30 ft deep. You can't see how wide it is. The larger room seems to be illuminated with an odd flickering red light.

Moving forward slowly, he looks at the room lit in red and tries to make out what lies inside before he even gets there but nevertheless continues to move forward.

(W20)

Soryn moves into the short hallway. He can see that the room is only about 30 ft wide, and 30 ft deep. It appears empty, and there is no obvious source of the light that seems to shimmer against the walls.

Soryn

They did all of that nonsense just to come into an empty room? Oh no, this rogue was not having any of that. In a spurt of certain frustration, he moved into the room and began to look around anyway, looking at the walls to see if there were any markings...anything that would give value to this seemingly worthless room.

((Take 20 on Western Wall))
