Alo

Alo was unaware that his companions were getting into a fight. Now that the wolf was leaving him alone he was making progress.

Soryn
HP:21
AC:16

Whatever it was, he didn't automatically assume it was harmless, taking out his rapier, he hoped he would have the precision to handle whatever it was but for now he would place himself in a defensive stance to see what was going to go on.

((Total Defense +4AC so its now 20))

Gorfan's hammer smacks into the blob of ooze, sinking in partially. When he pulls his weapon away, the dent just sort of fills itself in as the blob reforms. It quivers for just a moment, and then lurches towards Gorfan, apparently trying to engulf and crush him.

You are entitled to an attack of opportunity when the thing tries to engulf you. However, if you take it, you do not get a reflex save to avoid being engulfed. If you forgo the AoO, make a reflex save. If you beat it, you will be either pushed back or to the side. Your choice. Tell me your preference, when you make your save, if you choose to make one.

Gorfan
HP:22/22 (3 Non-Lethal)
AC: 16 (T:10, FF:16)

Gorfan perceives the ooze coming towards him at an alarming rate and attempts to move out of the way of its charge to the north of the room away from the ooze.

Reflex Save Vs Ooze (1d20+1=17)

Soryn

Almost in unison, Soryn decided to follow his groups desires for now and attack the blob with his rapier, though he attempted to flank it while it was busy with Brass' attack. If there was no way to do so without provoking the blob to attack him then he'd simply attack along side Brass.

(OOC: I will assume that Brass ends up west of the blob and I will end up SW)

Attack Roll on Blob 1d20+6 = 10
Dmg Roll on Blob 1d6+1 = 6

Brass moves into combat and gives a mighty swing. His blade slices a chunk of the creature away cleanly, and the separated chunk quivers for a moment before going still and limp.

Soryn moves up next to him and stabs it with his rapier, and lands a solid hit. Unfortunately, the effect isn't the same. Its more like poking a blob of play-doh with a pencil. No real damage is done.

Gorfan swings his hammer again, and he has the same results as before. A solid hit, but the creature just seems to soak up the damage.

The blob thing lurches again. This time, he goes after Brass.

{OOC: Brass, see the spoiler I made towards Gorfan earlier, as it applies to you now.
Everyone else, you can get an AoO, if you so desire. Will update the map after I get a response from Brass.}

Gorfan
HP: 22/22
AC: 16 (T:10, FF:16)

Gorfan, seeing the blobby ooze lurching towards the warforged, decided to hold any oppotunistic endeavour due to his weapon's inability to effectively damage the ooze.

Brass attempts to move away, but he is surprised by how quick the blob of light moves. The blob oozes around Brass' feet, and then rises up and engulfs him completely.

Brass, completely covered, can see nothing but bright lights, in many colors, swirling before his eyes. The dazzling display leaves you Blind and Stunned for 1 round.

{OOC: I rolled a will save for you, Brass.}

Brass
HP: 24/27 (Non-lethal: 3)
AC: 16 (Temporary -2)

Having been consumed by the light, he was blinded and shocked by the brilliance. He dropped his blade in reaction and tried to regain his senses.
