Brass

Taking hold of the now submerged rope, he climbs out much easier. Strange how all the way he seems to drain water from within his body, as well as from his pack.
When he climbs to the surface of the now dark rotating room, he removes his backpack and drains the water back into the well, making sure to keep it's rightful contents inside. Returning the now squishy pack over his shoulders, he presses down on his pouch, and it in return spills forth more of the water.

"I had hoped there might have been something interesting atleast at the bottom of the well....but it appears as though we have been the only ones foolish enough to fall into this trap..."

Gorfan

Gorfan nods at Brass' sentiments as he hefted up the rope with his warhammer at the end of it. When the rope was all the way back up from the well, Gorfan unties the warhammer from the end of the rope and places it at his buckler on his side. Now taking their situation into account, the dwarf ventures to say,"The well was there for anyone to fall into to be sure, but now that we're out of there we must find a way to explore further..." At that the cleric used his darkvision to make his way to the control panel and wondered at which direction to point the orange keycharm. He wondered then if the rotator room itself had been made specifically for the purposes of drowning unwary souls in the well trap....with this thought in mind Gorfan beckons to Brass and Soryn.

"It seems at though this room could have been made specifically for this well trap and not for the purposes of harbouring other passageways...but if you have another opinion as to the nature of this room venture it now as I have wish to fall in again..."

Soryn

The rogue knew there was nothing down the well now so he used the sunrod to look around and see if there were any other openings they might be able to investigate.

If not, he would wonder if he could reach the panel to use the blue keycharm he had in hand and test out another passageway.

Rotator Room 3

Soryn finds no other exits.

The only option with the blue keycharm is to return the Rotator Room back towards the direction from which they came. There are no other colors on this control panel which they have matching keycharms for.

Gorfan

Gorfan had looked around and found no indication of further exits besides that which they had come. The cleric turned to Soryn and said,"It seems as though we have no other option but to use the blue keycharm to get back the way we came to the other rotator room..and when we get there I suggest we explore the southern way if possible"

Soryn

"Nothing here...lets head back"

Moving on to head back, he gets back to the rotator room that had just caused all this mess and used the blue keycharm to open up the last passage that was available to them for now.

Rotator Room 1 (W2)

The group uses the blue keycharm and returns to the first rotator room.

Gorfan

Gorfan nods to the rogue to make use of one of the keycharms...possibly the blue key again.. as they were at the first rotator room. Soon enough they would be looking upon what the next passage had to offer in terms of exploration value.

Soryn

He made sure to take the orange keycharm again just in case they needed it again. He figured he should hold on to them since he was the one making the decisions for the most part this time. As he looked at Gorfan and thought for a bit, he recalled another rotator room just before they had encountered that annoying wolf. Motioning for them to follow, he goes to that rotator room (W14) and realizes there was still one last place they had yet to check. With orange keycharm eventually in hand, he moves to open that one...hoping there was not another well to fall into this time around.

Rotator Room 2 (W14)

The group uses the Green keycharm first to return to this rotator room. Then, Soryn uses the Orange keycharm again. Once more, the room begins to rotate, but this time, the everbright lantern remains lit. When the room comes to a stop, the exit faces the South East.

The hallway has a gentle downward slope to it, and about 30 feet down, it turns East.

He motions for them to come along, cautious as ever, creeping down the passageway but making sure to try and take note of anything suspicious wondering what exactly this would lead them to this time.

Soryn

The door must have been closed for a reason but the rogue was intrigued yet again so he looked at the door and started his drilled-in routine before opening it.

Attempting to closely examine it, he looked for traps first before attempting to use that orange keycharm to open it.

Search Check for Traps 1d20+7 = 20

You find no traps. However, there is an arcane lock tied to the proper keycharm, meaning you have no chance of picking the lock without the proper key.

Soryn

Having not had the intention of picking the lock anyway, he looks at the orange keycharm and moves to go on ahead and use it to open the door.

(W19)

Inside the door is a room, with mirrored walls, floors and ceilings. There is a mass of light bouncing from mirror to mirror inside, almost blindingly bright.

There is a single door directly across the room.

Soryn

Squinting a bit, he moves to walk in, hoping the floor will hold since this place seems to have affinity for making people drop down further and further...or so he thought. The door that he saw was his goal and it didn't seem like anything else here was worthy of inspection but given the bright light, he tries to narrow his eyes and search around anyway.

((Take 20))
