Gorfan

Gorfan stepped forward near Soryn to examine the potions, map and schema...what was of most interest to the cleric was the potions, and he intended to find out what they were exactly. The schema and map could wait.

The cleric decides to appraise the potions very closely

((Appraise check at +3))

Gorfan

Gorfan would find it impossible to get any sort of appraisal on the potions without first identifying them.

{OOC: DC 25 Spellcraft check to identify the potions, cannot take 20.}

Alo

Alo picked up the schema and gave it a look over. "This looks like it might be what we're after."

Soryn

The rogue places the last of his findings, another sack full of around 80 Galifars infront of him and simply waits, expecting the cleric and the mage to make sense of the other items. They were bound to be of use if they were this much trouble already.

"Find anything of use yet?" Of course he spoke to both Alo and Gorfan at that time...waiting for a positive response.

Alo

Alo finds that three of the four potions are the same substance. A stronger version of the drink that was found in the font of the old church. Three vials contain Cure Moderate Wounds potions. He cannot discern what the other contains.

Now that the first potions are identified, you can attempt to appraise them. Doing so, you estimate their value at 230 Galifars each.

Alo

"These three are healing potions." Alo gestured to the identical bottles. "More potent that what we found earlier. I cannot work the other one out though."

"I could use one of those potions for my troubles"

He huffed a bit but did nothing more but wait, assuming Gorfan had some details of his own.

"And what of the other items?"

Alo

Alo offered one of the healing potions to Soryn. "Just drink it." He said. "That object we were sent to bring back. The map I cannot understand...yet."

Soryn

Taking hold of the potion, he decides to save it for a bit before making use of it. The fact the schema was meant to be sent back to someone immediately made the rogue assume something which he wanted confirmation on.

"Is there a reward involved in returning that item?"

The smirk offered was obvious, clear confirmation of where this man's interests truly lied at this point. Nothing but profit remained on his mind....

Gorfan

The dwarf took Soryn's question into consideration and tried to think if the schema was what they were supposed to return for a reward. The cleric concluded the item seemed to be of some significant value and turned his attention to the last potion font...he would use spellcraft to attempt to identify this one.

Spellcraft check (1d20+3=6)
Spellcraft check (1d20+3=5)

Gorfan may leave this up to Alo...his identification senses aren't right at the moment.

Ahlias had taken the time to gather up the rest of the items the others had not touched, and would also carry on the rest of the items found behind the furnace.

The tall warrior leaned on his Greatsword and examined the Scale Mail.

"What now then?"

Soryn

"What have you three come down here for?"

The rogue had not known the reason behind the fact that this group had come across him before. He saw benefit with their company and given what has already occurred, he could not say that he was disappointed with the fact they were here. That did not mean much though in the grand scheme of things.

Was the schema what this group needed? Did it even hold value?

Alo

((If my phoneline hadn't been down since thursday morning, I would've posted Alo putting the map and the unidentified potion in his rucksack. Anyone got a problem with that?))

"We were payed to hunt for the schema." Alo replied to Soryn's question.

Soryn

"I can only assume that I can share in this payment, am I correct?"

The man began to fiddle with a Galifar he took out of the sack he placed before him and waited for a response.

Ahlias finished putting the coins and things in his backpack for alter sorting. It was important now that they get out of here - the warrior was more than satisfied at what they had found.

"How do we get out of here, anyway?"

At that point, the warrior began to fiddle with the big door from the inside.

Soryn

Whether or not Alo answered about the shared rewards, or if they had been payed right from the start, the rogue moved up to where Ahlias stood. He did not know why there was just an inkling of comradery when it came to this warrior, but as if unaware he spoke "Perhaps I can figure something out now."

The rogue simply moved to search the door for any signs of a way to get out of there, but given the fact the lock held it tight outside, he doubted he would find anything so he would search the area to his left (southern part of the Foundry) for any way to get out.

Soryn

Soryn finds that the door is just as securely fastened from the inside as from the outside. It appears the the only way out is back up the hole in the ceiling.
