That does it...

I'm back and with net once again, and I'll be able to make my post as soon as I'm able to. Sorry for the wait, and Xanthos is still needing to post if they are able to, and if they have not vanished.

Haha, no, I'm here, I've just been ridiculously busy over the last week and I haven't had time to do much of anything. I'll have a new post ready tomorrow.

Hey, I have some questions regarding these "Inkers" if someone might be willing to shed some more light on them. The image I'm getting in my head is that they are like an atavistic, almost semi-sentient sort of human, as if the disasters that occurred caused them to shed their humanity and let their more primal instincts take over. Is that an accurate approximation? Or am I off base with this?

If any of you have played the game S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Shadow Of Chernobyl and/or its sequel, I have likened them in my mind to "Snorks," the semi-quadrupedal guys in gas masks that leap at you and just slash your face right off with their claws.

Here's a picture:

I was going more for the raiders from fallout 3 (and the various post apocalyptic things that inspired it).

The ink was meant to be on their skin.

I would think the farther from whats left of civilization the more animalistic the people would become...So the farther our little group travels from the cryo building (once we head out)the more strange things/people/beings they would encounter, right?

That's pretty accurate. The main point of the condition of the world is that it's become completely savage. Nothing is left that the characters who were frozen would recognize. Essentially they'll be looked at as freaks by anyone left alive simply because of their appearance. Lowthor did a good job of hitting the nail on the head with his description of his own character. Anyone left alive was pretty much forced to adapt to the environment.

I promise that as soon as Luskyr meets up with the rest of you my posts will shrink from the novels that they have been so far. I've just been trying to get as much in as possible to speed up eventual contact.
