Alo

"I cannot offer you either at the moment, but perhaps when my companions and I have fully explored this place."

Rorsa

"Hmmph... Magic is boring. I'm going to go play chase the tail with the others wolves. Have fun with your magic."

Rorsa pads away to the other room.

Brass

Brass considers....and shakes his head. This wasn't good, they had foolishly turned the rotator room to the NE, where the living fire was...he should have paid more attention to where Soryn was taking them. He would quickly suggest, "Take us to another location....quickly."

Spot & Listen (1d20-1=1, 1d20=10)

Gorfan

Gorfan was a bit shaken to see the charred walls of the corridor before them leading to the north-east and also suggested swift action to be away from this corridor before the living fire perceived their presence.

"I can feel an evil presence down this corridor...take us to the north or another such location and fast!"

{OOC: I was talking about the other rotator room picture that you gave us SJ...the one with the passages at each corner. there were only four I believe. It looks like you thought I meant the first rotator room}
Listen check 1d20+3 = 10 Spot Check 1d20+5 = 6

"What?"

{OOC: I will do these for now to see if we are all still on the same page}[/color]

Edited by SJ. I hid previous references, and will make a new post to adjust for this travesty. In the future, it might help to indicate room numbers when telling me which rotator room you are going to.

Rotator Room 3 (W18)

The trio puts the Orange keycharm into the slot and turns...

The room slowly rotates. The everbright lantern goes out and the room is plunged into darkness. Still, the room keeps turning...

{OOC: Balance checks, everyone}

Rotator Room 3 (W18)

A loud SPLASH is heard as Brass goes tumbling down into a hole in the darkness and splashes into a well. (3 nonlethal damage) When the room finally comes to a stop, Gorfan (dwarf... darkvision...) can see that the entrance is pointing straight down.

{OOC: If Gorfan or Soryn fail the DC 7 Balance check, they will fall into the trap as well. Brass needs to make a swim check or drown. Or he would, except he's warforged... }

Brass
HP: 24/27 (3 Non-leathal)

Grumbling underwater, Brass attempts swimming to a side of the well...Yet, amidst all of his splashing, all he seems capable of doing is treading water...

Swimming in a well! (1d20-6=9)

((OOC: How is 293 lbs of Metals, wood, stone and other material even Bouyant?))

Rotator Room 3 (W18)

Soryn can't see anything. Its completely dark in the room.

Brass manages to keep himself from sinking to the bottom, but his lack of skill with swimming shows as he fails to make any real forward progress.

Soryn

He could hear the splashing but couldn't really make out what had caused it just yet.

"Its way too dark in here"

After speaking outloud to himself, he attempted to feel around in the Lady's haversack and took out a sunrod to help illuminate this place.

The magic of the Haversack works whether it is dark or not, and when Soryn reaches for a sunrod, he easily finds one and retrieves it. Striking it to life, he can see what has happened.
