Soryn

Having an inclination toward taking the blue one, he suggests that Brass hand it over to him and then starts to lead the group on over to the rotator room. Figuring they should simply go in order, he motions to the area to the SE and motions for Brass to use the green keycharm to help them gain access to that room.

Alo

Alo looked up from the scroll, "I can read it, which is a good start, but it will take time to extrapolate the magic from the scroll. I need to break it down to the basics, and then rebuild it in my mind before I can scribe it to my own spellbook."

Then he allowed them to go on with the exploring.

Rotator Room (W2)

Brass puts in the keycharm for the Southeast corner. The room begins to rotate, and eventually stops with the exit facing south east.

The group wanders down a hallway about 30 feet before they come to a third Rotator Room. Again, there is a panel in the center, with its own unique control set.

{OOC: Image shows Control Panel for Rotator Room (W18).}

"I suggest we head back and return here later. There should be some rooms that wont lead us into yet another set of rooms"

He suggested they return back to the rotator room, making note that the SE had yet another one they could explore. If all was well, he would return back to the room and use his keycharm to open the passage to the east and see what was there.

Gorfan

Gorfan noted also that the SE passage of the blue keycharm had other avenues that they could explore later on. The dwarven cleric moved along down the passageway with Brass and Soryn back to the Rotator Room they had come from.

"I believe we could try the green keycharm next as the blue key seemed to lead us to further avenues of exploration...but Boldrei decrees that the blue way can wait and that the way north awaits..." Gorfan said matter-of-factly," but be wary of the 'living fire' Rorsa spoke also...it could just be down the green way" That being said, Gorfan adjusted the controls so that the rotator room would point to the north.

Soryn

This rogue wonders what the cleric was up to, arching a brow and then shaking his head before suggesting he give the blue keycharm back so he can place it to open passage to the NE to see what may be there.

Brass

Brass will try and halt Soryn before he does that. "Not that one. According to Rorsa, that is where the fire creature is.

Try the East passage."

(W3)

The Eastern corridoor leads to a room that appears to be a vast linen closet. A narrow corridor runs between four rows of floor-to-ceiling shelves, with fresh bedsheets, blankets, towels, and clothing stacked high upon them. There is a smell of clean cloth filling the air. At the far side of the room, a large washbasin is set into the floor.

Alo

Alo looked up from the scroll. "I am studying the spell recorded on this scroll, so that I can learn to cast it for myself. The spell protects whomever it is cast upon from a desired energy type, for example fire. It may help us defeat the living spell."

Alo

"Possibly. You can speak, so you can say the magic words." Alo laughed at that last bit. "It may require some research to see if there is a way around your lack of fingers. Most of the spells I know require gestures as well as words."

Rorsa

"Yay! I'm gonna learn magic! I'm gonna learn magic!"

Rorsa goes over to one of the chests and flips the lid open. Using nothing but teeth, Rorsa pulls out what appears to be a bowl and positions it like a hat. "Every magician needs a good hat! Right? I need a wand now! Gotta have a wand. Oooh! And a crystal ball!" Rorsa goes rummaging through another chest, and from this one out comes a ruler. "Okuh, Ah guh muh wnn. Ah Ruddy!" Holding the 'wand' tightly between the teeth, Rorsa tries to enunciate.

Alo

Alo starts to chuckle.. "Rorsa.. Rorsa. I'll make you a deal. I will try to teach you some magic, but first I really need to study this spell. Are we agreed?"

Rorsa

Rorsa spits out the wand. "Ok, You do that! I'm gonna discover the mysteries of the universe, by gazing at my crystal ball!" The wolf goes off, apparently intent on her mysteries.

Brass

Keeping up with the group, he was merely the muscle behind this foray into the unknown. But he was content to follow Soryn and Gorfan through the halls of this empty dungeon.
When they arrived at the massive linen closet, he was mildly curious if there was possibly anything of value in such a place.

(W3)

As the trio looks into the room, before their very eyes, a white sheet rises up, as if of its own will, from one of the shelves. It begins to floak across the room, away from the group.
