Ok Spartan, I'm going to make some things very clear to you, and it is your choice on how to accept all of this. First, this is an open RP, meaning anyone can join with their charas. Second, you may have been helping develop the story-line, but you were assuming it was endgame already with a couple people playing their charas the way that they do. I was approaching this RP and situation with a lot of tact and consideration, especially considering the level that my chara actually is. I was severely limiting my chara down for this rp to begin with.
For you to jump to the conclusion of me being butt-hurt, you are very far from wrong on that. You voiced your concern about my dragon form being there even though in my post states, along with my ooc post, that it is a very brief appearance. I chose the option to continue to respect the RP and the concern that you voiced. It was obvious that you actually don't care for any deviation from the story that you yourself are setting, showing no sign of adaptation due to situation changes.
You could have very well accepted what was happening and made modifications to go with it, or even see where it was taking. Instead you immediately jumped to a sudden conclusion about what was happening. This is RP, stuff like this happens, and most RP'ers go on the fly. We all don't go by a specific book.
I was not making this one all about me, I was just adding myself into the story. I was going to do a bit sooner and was going to be more subtle, but the point upon my entrance you already had a legion coming. I only posted how my chara would have reacted naturally to that situation, with a tremendous handicap upon my chara to begin with.
Now you can shove your attitude somewhere else and open your mind for once and think instead of reacting next time. What was not needed was your attitude. I was respecting what was voiced and pulled myself out, and instead got this un-needed approach by you. Yes Nayla was hurt, and she is a good friend to many of us, and has known me for many years. I apologize to her about me pulling out, but I did so out of respect for the RP. What was not needed was your attitude and actions that you have pulled.
This is me being blunt. This board is old, but you also demonstrated an attitude and ego yourself, especially when things were seeming to put a damper upon the story that you were creating. Instead of adapting to the situation and making it work to go with what you had planned, you were immediately stating that you were going to make it like an endgame and just pull out all the stops. That sounds like a tantrum to me.
I myself have been in many long-running epic RP's, and many have had situations that called for dire actions at moments, but those did not end the RP. All those within adapted and worked with it, and in truth it made it much more enjoyable for everyone within it. Two of those RP's lasted four about four years, and the others also went long term for a few months.
My suggestion to you, think about what is going on a little bit more and open yourself and what you have planned for adaptive planning. This is RP, we all work together to make a story happen, and all add our parts. If you want it fully as your story, then have it stated that you are the GM and all actions have to meet your approval first. This started as Free-Form, not a GM base.
I'm not butthurt, you outright pissed me off. Those on this board can tell you, I'm normally a very easy-going guy and can adapt to most situations. They also can tell you that one thing that I won't tolerate is BS, some which you have demonstrated this night.
I'm sorry Nayla for this ruining your RP that you have started, and I was planning to enjoy it immensely with all of you, but that has now changed. {Fades.}
