Main Room
Dahlia began backing up, strategically of course. Perhaps it was a good time to recant.
"I'm... sorry, we didn't realize it was a sensitive subject-"
The Overseer, OSC-01, shifted her gaze between Marie, Grey, Miko, and Dahlia as they talked. Their accumulative voices stung and faded away as their sense of hearing started to drown, shut down by some form of malevolent consumption.
"I am n
ot bro ken."
Around to the other side of the room, the robot took a step back, bringing the baton up in an attempt to smack Reman out of the air, given his sudden height advantage, the strike missed and the guard fell back into position.
OSC-01 took a step forwards towards the group, repeating themselves as they unconsciously looked over at the obnoxious display the aeroknight was putting on. They raised their sheathed right wing, snapping the elegant piece it downwards to point in the direction of the door Arbs was tactically retreating towards. Their words clashed, as if two minds were trying to speak at once.
"Leave,
I beFORe
am I mak-"
A horrid, metallic
crunch echoed around the halls as OSC-01 stopped dead, their right wing extended outwards. One of the longest "feathers" of the wing had been thrown away, but it wouldn't take long to find it. Hovering on the other side of the hall, it had unfolded and extended to form a double-headed glaive, teeming with a crackling green substance that resembled a controlled blade of plasma. The glaive had found itself on it's mark- cleaved several inches into the back of Remans armor.
What?
OSC-01, or what was left, turned their head back to look at the group in front of them, all light gone from their eyes. After a violent snap, the other three longest feathers clicked. shifted, and unfurled to show their true colors. The casings from their arms folded away along with the rest of the ornamental feathers, floating around to the robots back to form a protective shield from behind. The robot cast away the metal codex they held, leaving it behind at the entrance to the left wing.
OSC-01 took a step forwards, grabbing one of the three lances at their disposal as the other two floated to a defensive position, circling their host. Their immeasurably hot tips slid across the floor as the robot approached, sending up licks of sparks and ash in their wake.
The green bobble bots looked at each-other with a slight state of confusion, looking between the others in the group and their now defunct host After a moment, there came another crashing of metal as two of the three green robots fell from the ceiling clad in guard armor, not unlike those the brown robots wore (which had now stepped away from the ensuing fight). These ones, however, came equipped with a much more menacing energy sword. Their distinct black and white armor casings shone with a plastic-like highlights.
Dahlia took this moment, to promptly, bail away from the others, giving the mercenaries a nice
"good luck double pay" pat. She was nearly caught however by the other robots, narrowly avoiding their crashing approach.
