Just so everyone knows---

Starting now, but getting going worse on Saturday, my r/l world is about to become something akin to a ticking bomb...So please bare with me if my posts are late or short and if I'm a bit snappy...

Here is the jist of it---

3 yrs ago my (then 16 yr old bitch of a) daughter got together with this gangbanging thug, then got pregnant. He, Ray, came from a very bad child hood, mom had him at 14,the dad was his his mom's step brother, mom claimed rape, but it wasn't. He has ADHD that his mother left untreated , except for getting him SSI, (Money is that bottom line)by age 10 she had him selling crack to support his family....Well he was a few months short of being 18 when we let him move in, under certain restriction...no drugs, no booze, no weapons, no colors and no gang crap...We told him it was either our daughter and the baby or the street life...He picked a family life...he straightened out, amazingly sticking to the rules and when the baby was born, he was an awesome dad...though he and my daughter argued all the time, they loved each other...Well 2 weeks before the baby's 1st birthday, the first time in over a year, he went to a friend birthday party...a fight was going to break out, so he and his 2 friends left...Sadly though one of his friends, drunk and stupid, smelled pot while walking down the street to where I was suppose to pick them up...This idiot goes into the open garage where a guy is sitting and all hell breaks loose! Well Ray tried to be the good guy, he went and grabbed his friend and tried to drag him away, but the other guy started clocking Ray in the back of the head, tell finally Ray let go of his friend and turned and beat the hell out of the guy...so he went from good Samaritan to aggravated assault...both boys where given 2 years in prison...
My daughter stuck by his side and when she turned 18 they had a jail house wedding (We told her not to, to just wait, but wtf do we know) everything was tense but ok tell about 4 months ago...My daughter decided she was done with him....the problem? He is paroling to our house, his home....She doesn't want him here, says she hates him...He loves her and wants to be a good husband and father...He gets out on Saturday...
For those of you who have heard me bitch about my daughter and her nasty attitude, your probably imaging what I think might happen...All I care about now is keeping my 2 1/2 yr. old grand daughter from being the rope in a tug or war game!
Hear the bomb ticking? lol I can not only hear it but I can feel it in the air!!

My life would make an awesome soap opera!!
 
I know most people don't believe the same as I do on here, but I'm going to offer my suggestion anyway.

You're going to have to make a choice. You'll see what the options are. Act in the best interest of the child.
 
I've already thought of the choices...
A. Try to get custody of the child --Daughter will never speak to me again and if I loose, I will never see either one again...

B. Dad will live here with us and we will help raise the baby (I'm pretty sure he would go for that, but no judge is going to give him custody due to his record) and when we finally move to OR., take dad and baby with us, but not the mom!

C. (Which seems to be the plan that is going to happen)...Daughter moving to a relatives house, dad and baby stay here, mom will come take baby a few days a week...I just have to keep everyone's temper in check...
Option C is the best one for the baby...So, like I said, we will know how it is going to go soon enough...

Very cool! My parents are renting a place in Eugene right now, but looking for a place to buy, close but not to close to Portland, so my sister will be close to the hospital (She has C.F)
 
What a small world. I grew up in Boise, lived in Hawai'i for a few years, and been living in Boise this past couple years.

Just breathe and continue to hang in there Madi.
 
T you and I are near the same age I think? What school did you go to? GO BIG BLUE!?!?!

Alright the question begs to be asked...since I'm newly returned to the boards myself...Anti, do you know why we call him T?
 
Anti, I went to Twin Falls Senior High for my High School, and Navy for my college credits. I'm more of a UH fan. I'm not really into sports, and whenever UH and BSU go at it, I just wish for a good game. And do you know why everyone calls me T? {Grins.}

I hope that your weekend went better then you thought Madi, despite how rough it must have been. {Grins and hugs da Madi, shoving a bunch of catnip cookies into her pocket before fading.}
 
T Virus Licker would be my first thought since that was the Name you used on the boards when I was here before.

I cant be sure but you were involved in a couple RP's back in the day with me and AEP? Cant remember them specifically, it was a long time ago but none the less, I do go back as far as 1998 with the creation of Matron as my first character in Yahoo chat.

I have a lot of respect for what June Jones did at Hawaii and look forward to that game every year.
