Alo
HP: 7/7
AC: 11 (vt:11, ff:10)

Alo pulled out the Magic Missile scroll he had tucked in his belt, then waited for this new foe to make himself visible.

((Readied action to cast MM on Saber))

Damage for MM (1d4+1=3)

Attack!

Ahlias
HP: 12/12
AC: 13

Ahlias growled and broke another SunRod open. The light illuminated the dark, and the Warrior wasted no time. With a lunge that put him in front of his companions, the mighty man hefted his greatsword at an angle to his side and charged along the roof, leaping the rooftop and hoping to land as gracefully as possible...

Jump check (1d20+4=8)

And it would seem his balance wasn't so great, but that wouldn't stop him from rising with the adrenaline pumped ferocity only fighters could manage.

"Out with you, wretched 'Forged! Let us settle this!"

Saber

" 'Wretched Forged'?! Too long have my people been oppressed by the softskins! You are no match for me in combat!"

Another flaming bolt comes flying towards Ahlias, and it zips past his ear. Ahlias can smell the scorched hair from the proximity of the shot.
The voice and the attack came from the north side of the stone column. With the light from Ahlias' sunrod, a glint of metal can be seen from behind the rocks.

{OOC: Take 6 nonlethal damage from the fall, and you are prone.}

Soryn

The rogue was not as acquainted with the Forged as the others. He saw them readying themselves and had heard Sabre speak his piece about the schema. IF that thing was as valuable as he assumed at this point, there was no way that he would let Sabre take it after the hard work he has put in to get all of these things.

Soryn simply unsheathed the rapier he had just acquired, holding a torch that Gorfan gave him still and stepped closer to the edge of the roof. He would not be as brash as Ahlias and jump off just yet but it seemed to be the best bet if they were going to find the coward.

Round 1
Concluded

Alo fires his magic missile as Saber is illuminated by Ahlias, and the missile strikes true.

Gorfan succesfully passes a torch to Soryn.

Ahlias jumps down, and might have twisted an ankle or something if he hadn't landed in some soft dirt on his bum. He illuminates the warforged's location, partially.

Saber's shot at Ahlias missed.

And Soryn approached the edge of the roof while drawing his rapier.

Round 2

Initiative:
Gorfan - 20 - Yellow
Ahlias - 10+ - Red
Alo - 10 - Green (changed to reflect the ready action)
Saber - 7 - Black
Soryn - 6 - Blue

Alo

Alo swings down over the edge, and starts to climb down the wall. Unfortunately, he loses his grip on the wall, since it provides almost no grip or handholds. He slips and falls down to land on his back directly in front of the main doors.

{OOC: Take 6 points of nonlethal damage.}

Gorfan
HP: 17/17
AC: 16 (T:10, FF:16).

Seeing his companions seek out the origin of the large voice, Gorfan decided to climb down after his companions...knowing that he may well end up landing with quite a bump on the ground. However, the cleric was prepared to take the blow providing he could effectively assist the party. Taking a breath, the dwarf began the climb down....

Climb Check (1d20-4=3)

Ahlias makes a mental note of his allies and their action, and ignores the pain in his legs from the jump. It didn't matter - he saw the Warforged, and Saber was his!

The warrior stalked forward directly towards the 'forged, assuming the rocks were at all passable. Otherwise, he would follow a similar path to the right and circle around.

Soryn

Following suit, this rogue attempts to jump from the height he was at since he was already near the edge. Wanting to land so that the rocks were between him and Saber hopefully so that the warforged would have a harder time connecting with his projectiles.

Jump Check 1d20+1 = 2

Perhaps all of his planning did not allow him to properly prepare for the jump, so he would no doubt land miserably but hopefully still where he intended.

Saber

Saber drops his crossbow and draws a longsword as he approaches to do battle with Ahlias directly. Swinging, a little recklessly, he quips "You are brave, but you are no match for me." and brings his blade down at Ahlias and easily cuts through the human's defenses. 8 dmg

Round 2
Concluded

Ahlias and Saber closed in for combat and Ahlias got a taste of what its like to face the Big Bad Evil Guy solo.

The rest of the group unceremoniously got themselves off the roof.

{Soryn takes 5 points of nonlethal damage, and is prone where he landed.}

Round 3

Initiative:
Soryn - 20+ - Blue
Gorfan - 20 - Yellow
Ahlias - 10+ - Red
Alo - 10 - Green
Saber - 7 - Black

{OOC: Travelling over the rocks counts as Difficult Terrain, so it takes twice as much movement to get over it. So moving 5 ft counts as moving 10 ft. So if you can normally move 30 ft, you can only move 15 ft over the rocks. A 5 ft step is still 5 ft.

Also, Magus, I see you haven't rolled your Hit Dice for level 2 yet, so I suggest you do that. Otherwise, you are unconcious right now.

Soryn was forced to delay to the end of the round so that I can get the rounds divided easier.}

Alo
HP: 7/7 (6NL Dmg)
AC: 11 (10,11)

((Why am I not first anymore?))

Alo stands up, shakes out the pain from his back and then moves towards the warforged. As he goes he draws his sling from his belt.

{OOC: Because of the Readied action you took last round. When you take a readied action, your initiative changes to the point where the readied action was triggered.}

Gorfan
HP: 17/17
AC: 16 (T:10, FF:16)

After landing with a heavy thud, the cleric hurriedly got to his feat and, upon perceiving from a distance that Alhias was somewhat hurt, so Gorfan made his way towards the warrior.

Ahlias
HP: 10/18
AC: 14 (16)

Ahlias curses as Saber's weapon slices through his armor and scores a vicious hit along his ribs. It was time to get serious with this 'forged bastard.

Balancing about the rocky ground, the warrior squares off with the Lord of Blades' fanatical emissary, and as soon as opening presents itself, Ahlias strikes.

Attack roll: (1d20+5=24)

And the attack is quite horrific, should you be a particular Warforged.

But not so vicious...

Threat roll (1d20+5=8)
Damage roll (2d6+4=14)

As his attack completes, Ahlias pulls his sword back into a partial defensive stance (+2 AC)

Saber

Saber takes the hit from Ahlias and despite the well placed attack, it doesn't seem to be quite as effective as it would have been. Saber's body appears to be made of some very high-quality armor, which absorbed a bit of the damage from Ahlias.

Saber quips "So, there is still a bit of fight left in you? Well, we'll have to deal with that." He brings his longsword to bear against Ahlias, but fortunately for the warrior, he's ready for the attack this time, and nimbly avoids it.

Round 3
Concluded

Gorfan gets to his feet, and starts heading towards his wounded companion.

Alo gets to his feet, and moves in, while arming himself.

Ahlias and Saber exchange blows again, this time, with Ahlias coming out on top.

{OOC: I'm going to force Soryn to delay until the next round, considering I sent him a PM, which may change his move. he'll go first for Round 3, and I can break the rounds easier, since I will always be the last person in the round.}

Round 4

Initiative
Soryn - 20+ - Blue
Gorfan - 20 - Yellow
Ahlias - 10+ - Red
Alo - 10 - Green
Saber - 7 - Black

Alo
HP: 7/7 (6/7)
AC: 11 (11,10)

(Posting out of turn, but usual system.)

Alo was confident that he could at least reach Saber with a bullet now. He pulled one out of the bag tied to his belt, and let fly with it from his sling.

Ranged attack on Saber with Sling (1d20+1=16, 1d4=3)

Soryn
HP:8
AC:15

The rogue lifts himself up to a stand and begins to move around the rock he faced and straight forward swiftly in an attempt to aid Ahlias in his battle. Without uncovering any weaponry just yet, he figures he will be able to make it in time before any serious damage is dealt, hoping the others provide enough of a distraction for him to take advantage of.
