The rogue waited for whoever had taken the schema to hand it over to the patron, mind completely focused on what sort of reward he would be getting.

Alo

Alo swung his rucksack up onto the table, then opened it and pulled out the schema, before sliding it across the table to their employer.

Broken Anvil Tavern

The lady smiles and the shimmerweave gown she wears sparkles with her delight. She says "Well done. You have my thanks, and the thanks of my house. Here is your reward."

She places a bag on the table with the remaining coins in it.

"Check in periodically with the House Sivis message station at Barmin Tower. I may leave a message for you, if more work becomes available."

At that point, she and her bodyguard depart.

{OOC: At this point, we are going to have some downtime. You guys can split your money, spend it, craft stuff, repair things, do whatever you need to do that usually takes a few days. Role Play with eachother, or whatnot. When you finish, let me know and we will begin the next chapter of our adventure.}

Soryn

The rogue wastes no time in taking the bag and beginning to move to an area where he can spread out the bags they found with the bag they just acquired. First things first, he checked how much currency was actually in the bag that was just given to them. The rogue ignored the other two for now as he contemplated how he could best benefit out of this entire situation.

The journey that had gotten them here was one that deserved high rewards but anyone who was well aware of the wily antics of a rogue such as him would know that equal division was the last thing on this man's mind. He'd take a few moments more to think about what to take as he knew he could not simply run away with all of these bags in hand.

Soryn

This rogue wondered why Alo would even attempt to believe his estimate but perhaps he wouldn't lie?

"Counting what we have found during our journey and this reward, 820 Galifars and 100 Sovereigns."

The matter-of-fact tone he provided should have been more than enough to convince them right? The sack of Galifars that had been found in the foundry remained open as he acted as if he was double-checking to make sure...

OOC: (Gonna attempt to weasel a few more Galifars from the foundry bag. ten to be exact) Sleight of Hand Check 1d20+9=19[/URL]

{OoC: So are we supposed to be posting here now....or.....what's going on? I'm such a dork and I'm so lost. And what happened to the thread with all the links and stuff? Or....am I just missing it somewhere?}

Soryn

As he waited for Alo to respond to the confirmation of how much they had acquired, he continued to fiddle around with the already open sack of Galifars, waiting...and waiting...and waiting...patience running thin as he wished to use this reward already.

{OOC: illogical...you do not post here. This is a separate campaign. The thread you need to look at is still alive within the OOC section of this board. Have fun!}

As colvin said, this is for the first game that I started. It has been in progress for quite some time.

The ooc thread for your game is in the OOC section of tabletop. There is no IC thread. Yet.

Gorfan

The dwarf stared initially at their well-deserved reward of Galifars that they had received from the woman of House Sivis for thei returning of the schema. From memory, he seemed to think that their remaining reward had been at 750 Galifars...but Gorfan wasn't entirely sure. Glancing inside the largish bag of coins seemed to confirm his memory is correct in its assertion of the reward size.

" I believe that our reward stands at over 700 Galifars...around the mark of 750 I shouldn't wonder..." Gorfan glanced absently at one end of the street as if wondering if anyone was listening in on their discussion on the value of the coins in the bag and how they were going to split them fairly...well, as fairly as one could with a roguish companion in tow!

" That is what I recall from memory,"Gorfan frowned as he remembered the events that transpired before their subterreanean adventure"...a 750 Galifar reward for the bringing back of that foundry's schema..."

Soryn

"Well, I believe that is a good estimation...yes."

The bag of Galifars that he had just rummaged in from the area within the foundry was now placed at the side opposite the one that the cleric and wizard were at, leaving the full bag of 750 Galifars in plain sight of Gorfan and Alo. Was this rogue up to anything? What do you expect?!?!

Alo

Alo worked it out in his head. "That makes it about two hundred and seventy six galifars and about six soverigns each."

Soryn

"I believe your estimation is a bit off there"

He looked straight at Alo and then motioned to Gorfan.

"If you go by what he says and my current estimation, I'd say 255 Galifars for each and 33 Sovereigns between us."

Yet again he attempted to say that as matter-of-factly as possible and began to stand up, twiddling with the reward at hand to begin the separation.

Alo

"No. Thats wrong. We have the seven hundred and fifty galifars from our reward, as well as the coins from the foundry. As you said before that should be eight hundred and twenty galifars and one hundred silvers. Or there abouts. I'm only a wizard, but I can count. I can work it out again if you would like."

Alo put some extra emphasis into the words "Only a wizard"

Soryn

"Well, I'm no wizard, but if you feel what you have conjured up is correct then by all means, go ahead and separate them accordingly"

He eyed Gorfan for a second who would no doubt simply go along with the spellcaster's results and just waited. What mattered now was spending whatever he ends up getting.

Alo

"Yes. I shall then." Alo said and then walked around the table alittle. He put the two bags of coins together and started to count them out into the amounts he's worked out. A pity they didn't find a few platinum coins, or get payed in them.

In any case, it took him alittle while but they would end up with 273 gold coins each, plus 36 silver coins each. In the end he was left with a single silver coin he could not divide any further. The process included getting the bartender of the inn to change one of the gold coins into silver for them.

Soryn

The rogue made no facial expression or any sort of indication of emotion at all while the wizard went through his process. He simply waited until he finally divided them all and moved to take one of the divided parts, immediately speaking.

"Well, that settles it. Goodbye"

A hand was moved to reach his share, taking one of the sacks to fit it all in there and getting ready to spend his earnings, unless Alo and Gorfan still had something to say.
