What music do you listen to when your posting a thread or RPing. With out music I just can't concentrate or think. I get easily distracted with out it and often just find myself staring at a screen. But with a little Korn or Slipknot I can pound words out all night or day.
 
Well, that depends, I think almost everyone has a fighting mix. When I am Rping anymore I haven't been using music of late perhaps why my postings seem so inadequate to my own standards. When I used to RP in chat with Nick DragonsBlood, I would use songs about spys and assassination, Such as "Secret Agent man "which made me laugh a lot of the time. The Music I use is usualy based on the character or the mood that the character is displaying. I find Techno is a really good music if I want to type without stopping.
 
I actually don't listen to music when posting. If there is any music on, it distracts my train of thought. Which, actually, is really weird because when writing poetry or back in high school when studying, music used to help me concentrate. But, any time I RP it has to be completely silent. Preferably. Since that's not always possible, most of the time I just tune everything else out, including Marco. Heh.
 
For some reason I think ignoring MarcO would be extremely hard to do, iono.

I guess most of my RP is usually darker, I rarely RP anything normal, most of it is centered around characters like Scorn DarkTide or Fross Wrathblade but I do RP less destructive or weaker characters but they almost always have a darker setting to them. Maybe that's why I like Korn or Slipknot so much. Korn's Love Song and Slipknots Vermillion are my two songs of choice even though I have over two gigs of MP3's
 
I tend to be more of an advocate for a little something called 'silence' when posting an rp post or beginning a new rp altogether.

However, if I'm in a particularly inspiring mood, music and maybe even a movie soundtrack aids me in posting. ^^
 
Me, when I'm rp'ing it varies upon the mood I'm trying to establish or what I'm feeling. It can range from love songs to when I'm in soft moments with my wife to hard rock and metal songs when I'm raging or pissed.

One common song I do play when I'm using any of my lickers is Slipknot's My plague (New Abuse Mix). I also do Rob Zombie, Disturbed, Rammstein, Metalica, Pink Floyd, Janice Joplin, Jimmie Hendrix, Linkin Park, ACDC, VNV Nation, Lacuna Coil, Collide, Nightwish, Breaking Benjamin, Trust Co., GodSmack, Annie Lennox, POD, Korn, Mudvayne, Steppenwolfe, Soil, Orgy, ZZ Top, Static X, a little Marilyn Manson, Fuel, and many more. I love all sorts of music and soundtracks to listen to, it just depends on my overall mood, the rp (if I'm rp'ing), and the moment which is happening.
 
I don't deliberately listen to anything when posting. Often when I post I will be listening to something, but I could just as easily be watching the TV or something.
 
Sometimes I can listen to nothing and focus, but because my life revolves around listening to music so much, I find it hard to concentrate without it. When my iPod broke, I thought I was going to have a nervous breakdown. To answer your question, it depends on the mood. I have a wide range of everything in my iPod from Bryan Adams to Evanescence, I have one song my Marilyn Manson that gets me pumped at the gym...Janet Jackson, Missy Elliot, Nickelback...that kind of a thing. There are just certain songs that when I hear them, I'm like 'WHAM' that's the one that hits me, for some reason or another.

And for those of you about to pound on me for my musical choice, I am also a country lover.
