Well, after I saw some links and read some posts I decided to signup. Kind of missed things. Back in the old Ayenee days. *sniffles* getting all nostalgic here. Anyway, I've seen several iterations come and go and some fade slightly. Guess I'm just hoping for a little more life this time around? Dunno. There are some old names I've used playing vampires, demons, elves humans, dragons, dragonkin and a few other types. Even played a bit with Darkbanes back in the day. I've seen some comments in a few other posts here about feeling old and let me tell you... I'm right there with you! Ha! Well I should leave things be for now. I'm sure more conversation will ensue.
 
Welcome to .org m'dear. Great to see another known face. Ayenee has always been sorely missed, but she still lives in the hearts of those still loyal to her. I think many just moved on, and nomad it across the net looking for another place to call home or at least camp. My journey has been long, and nothing ever satisfied me more, than the memories of Ayenee. So eventually, I just ceased bothering, and it is still early days yet. I shall see where new stories takes me, and my character.

Life comes with people jumping into it and simply roleplaying, or opening up discussion of something 'group based'. Bring the community, closer together all nice and snug.

As for you being old... dream on buddy! You are no where near the grey, walking stick and long-john stage. Talking ass up there sweetie, lol.
 
Oh i have plenty of grays if not completely grey lol. My daughter loves pointing them out. As far as walking stick goes my knees and back might beg to differ after 9 years of metal decks and ladders on the submarines. lol.
 
But you didn't mention the long-johns though :p haha. Though, I have no clue what you submarine guys wear down there miles under sea and not sure it would be wise for me to try and picture that.....
 
well while we were up and about it was usually coveralls with a white or blue tshirt underneath and usually with sleeves rolled up. Occasionally workout clothes. the only times that it was other than that was showers and bed. lol so yeah imagine that

I'm good. I'm glad you came here. As far as I can tell, this website is Ayenee. It's the closest we will find. I see a lot of the Ayenee participants here, more than anywhere else. People usually just drop in, say hi, tell us what they remember, then fade away again.

At least this place does exist, though.
 
Much as some of us have lost our way for various reasons over the years. Those that remember what Ayenee was; It will forever be the home in our hearts and the home in our souls. For all my wanderings I have never felt I belonged as much as I did when I left Ayenee. So for as long as I am welcome with The Reaver. I will end his story where it always should have ended. Here, and hopefully along those few friends I did have and the most loyal of them being lovely Atra here. Who despite everything convinced me to come back even though my skills have rusted much over the years. Observing the steady decline of live client RP we all once enjoyed.
 
I feel like I have sharpened my skills over the years. I don't feel very rusted at all. This is probably because I have been waging wars nonstop ever since I started using the internet.

Either way, glory to Ayenee!
 
Uriel you are under arrest for "Showing the sugar plum fairies love behind the dumpster at the circle K" granted we'd never have known about it if two teenagers from San Demos hadn't reported strange things afoot at the circle K...Couldn't help myself sorry, and welcome Uriel.
