(madi, go ahead and delete my post on the new york one? I'll put my guy on this one.)

(Setting, Streets of downtown New york, by times square and grand central station)

The cloak billowed in the windy breeze as the sun set. The eyes of a strange yellow-red color glowed. "It's time. They'll be coming out any time now. The hunt, can begin."

The figure was six foot five and one hand slid into the cloak flexively.

Soon, the hunt would be on.

The hunter put a hand to mouth and gave two long whistles, and a short one.
Followed by three shorts, and lastly, two shorts and a long.

Three "helpfuls" arrived at the call.

The wolf Galagar, larger then the normal wolf, with the same-bloodline as regular Silentstriders.

The Tiger Rishad, who's claws of light, aided the battle against the vampires.

And lastly, The falcon Quest, who served as distraction on battles, but also as the eyes of the sky.

These "helpfuls" were well trained by the hunter, and they were each careful when dealing with the situations that arose.

Moon's eyes were covered by her long dark hair, a hand rested in her lap as she sat on a park bench, her eyes wandering the faces of passing by humans, her fangs slowly sliding out as she looked at the beautiful necks of a few young ladies, and a few young men."Why does it have to be this hard?"She whispered to herself, her stomach rumbling loudly."Why can i just do it?"She whispered to herself, again.

"Because, you are not able to kill, what is not meant to be killed by creatures of the night, creatures like you..."Moon's inner voice said to her.

Standing up,Moon began to walk out of the park, her black cloak dragging behind her, her short skirt rising up her thighs, her small shirt clinging to every curve of her body.

"Being a vampire is a horrid lifestyle..."Moon muttered.

The cafe, The library, the dance club, were all being observed already.

The figure walked slowly to the end of a park and stopped.

His help was all in different locations.

But something........felt disturbed here.

The hunter glanced with controlled clarity searching for the "target."

The vampire, still had a good chance of escape, for the hunter had not yet seen the prey.

Moon saw the hunter, and her fangs wuickly slipped back into her mouth. Humming a soft tune, she walked right past the man, looking at him from the corner of her blood red eyes.

"What is it with these hunters?"She whispered to herself,a sigh of releif escaping her lips as she made it through the park, and down the street a bit, glancing over her shoulder...

The hunter frowned as he turned towards the West of the park entrance feeling a sudden familiar presense then as quickly as it was, it was gone.

"Blast, it got away." He muttered looking left and right not knowing which direction the vampire went in. And without using it's vampiric skills, it was going to take meditation time to re-locate the target.

"Very well, but when next we meet, my prey. I will capture you."

He stopped for a moment. "Preferably, alive."

He raises a small vial and gazes at it. "For I have a proposition to make."

He goes off to gather his "help" and then heads for an apartment on the corner of Westin Avenue. He knew that there, his hideout, was where he was most...secure and calm.

Unlocking the door he gives a quick glance to make sure everything is where it should be and then heads to the bedroom.
The phone in the bedroom rings.

He answers without a word. "So? Did the hunt go well?"

He replys in a calm tone. "The target escaped. My help was all in other coordinates and I myself could not detect where exactly the target was. Too much human traffic."

"Listen, "friend" Don't screw this up, or your ass and mine are in real trouble with the council."

The hunter got annoyed. "Oh shut your trap, if it weren't for me, your ass would have been barbequed back in Chicago."

The hunter slammed the phone down and ripped the line out of the wall.
"Stupid punks, think they can tell us how to do our job."

The hunter layed his body and head down, the wolf laying on his legs, the bird perched above the bed-post and the tiger was laying down just at the side of the bed.

The hunter soon fell asleep to those miserable nightmares of origin.

Black smoke filling the interior of a house, Screams of anguish, fury, and battle heavy.

Horses falling as claws tore through flesh, Settlements of wheat burning.

The hunter's relaxed grip tightened upon the bed.
The wolf noticed but remained still. It knew what troubled it's "brother."

Moon followed the hunter to his home, and stodd on the street, staring up at the window."Echo..."She called, a sharp, but soft whistle escaping from her red lips.

The small raven that answered to the name Echo had been perched a few hundred feet up in a tree just down the road from where its mistress stood in the moonlight. Upon hearing its name and the soft whistle the bird ruffled its feathers and took flight, gliding down to Moon and then perched upon the girls shoulder.

Eyes so dark they appeared to be made of liquid night peered intently at the girls face, then uttered a small squawk sound before softly nudged its head against her forehead.

The hunter's free hand moved to side and twitched.
The tiger's keen ears rose up and it crawled up onto the bed to keep it's "brother" from falling off, and it pinned down his arms carefully with it's body.

The unmoved wolf, layed it's chest and front paws on the hunter's legs, making them immobile.

The hunter's nightmare continued. Flashes of dark red lightining surged in the skys, winds howled and tore at human faces. Children screamed in panic as they were snatched into the air by nightmare's with vampiric riders.

The hunter spoke in his sleep. "No, No, Ikishari, ikishari!"

The hands trembled and the hunter continued to watch the terror, damnation and destruction.
"Aspiritus ashanti!" the hunter yelled out through trembling lips.

The hunter's hands closed tightly on the bed as his body shook.
The nightmare was now winning over the occupant. The wolf barked loudly to alert it's brother to the danger, but his spirit was overcome with emotional grief.

A green fire shot over his hands, over his body, his "comrades" were used to the feeling and were able to steadfast ignore it, as it coursed through them and into the face of the hunter.

In the nightmare, the hunter could hear the echoed screams of the spiritual leaders. "Run, Nightwolf, Run. Run fast, Run hard, Run so that the fates of so many of us, will not fall into nothingness."

"Skys above me!" The hunter yelled out loud as a stream of green fire and light enveloped him. "Asirius Ashanti!" His body shook and even the bed started to move, Even with the creatures atop him and the cool, quiet bird, pecking lightly at his hands, even then did the bed move.

Swirls of dark purple coursed across the glowing eyelids. "Ssssssssurrender yourssssssssself ssssssssspiritwalker. Sssssssssurrender and know peasssse"
This voice, Nightwolf heard in his head, in the nightmare.

"I sha-ll never surrender to you, foul one. One day, your last columnists of priesthood in the wallows and the Mortuaries and the Morgue's shall be put to sleep, for good."

This he cried out in the waking world.
"And your spirit will have no where else, to flee."

"Aspiritus Ashanti, Come to my hand!"

A strange green glowing axe of some sort flew through the air and landed in one trembling hand.

The enchanted weapon glowed the same dark-purple, green mysterious light as the body.

"No, Moonriven, Stay back, don't, don't, AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!"

The power surged up tossing the "Helper's assistants to the far sides of the bed. And when the eyes opened, they were not light-green, but dark purple.

"Mhahaha, hahahahaha, hahahahahahaha. I'm free!"

The being stood from the bed and quickly ran towards the outer window.

His head turned and he stopped at the edge of the glass, his other hand shot out and another of those weird axes flew into the other hand.

He took a few steps back and flung himself right through the window.
Glass and the hunter flew out.
He landed one knee bent under him and he laughed maniacally.
"Mwahahhaha, I'm free. I'm freee."

"Ahahahaha."

Then it happened, the wolf, tiger and bird came flying right through the front door, the two bigger beasts grasping each hand in their mouths.
The bird quickly flew down and smacked it's wings into the hunter's face.

"Ahahah, your too late fools, he's gone. I'm free, I'm........no!"

The same green light glowed around him, not volitile to vampires.
"It cannot be." The hunter's voice altered slightly to that of a demonic voice.

"No, NOooooooooooooooooooo."

The green light finally stopped and the hunter dropped his weapons and put both hands to his face.

"By the stars. Their getting more and more violent, the closer I get to the central."

"what if, the council spoke wrong brothers? What if the being, is in central, and if he is, if he continues, this type of attack, how will I perservere?"

"Oh stars, guide mine hands, and spare my spirit this torment."

He lowered his hands and looked up, gazing in surprise at the woman in front of him.
For the moment, he did not recognize her as vampiric.

"My humblest Pardon's madam, I did not mean to awaken anyone with my......distress."

Moon stared at the man in front of her,and listened to the soft breathing of the raven named Echo sitting on her shoulder. "It's alright Sir,i was already awake, and wandering the streets with my bird,Echo."Her dark eyes peirced through the Hunter's eyes, and burned into his mind, sending him a mental message."I am a Vampire, but am not here to harm you,or anyone else,i only want to be cured, seeing as how i am only a Neophyte, there is a possiblity that you can return me to human form."

Echo sqawked her displeasure at the man for dropping down so close to them. Feathers ruffled, claws shifting, the bird once more found a comfortable perch upon Moon's shoulder and stared hard at the hunter before her.

The hunter gazed at the female and his hand reached instinctively for his weapon again when he heard her in his mind.
"First rule missy, don't be doing that whole in my mind thing again or I'll cut out your eyes."

He whistles and Quest flys down to his hand.

He gazes at Quest deeply and what can be felt as animal kinship occurs.

He gazes back at the vampire solemnly. "I got good news and bad news for you."

"The good news is, you can be cured."
His eyes grow cold. "The bad news is, we got a month to do the changing or else your stuck like that."

"And now for the worsts news."
He makes a snap of his fingers and galagar and Rishad sat down.

"These nightmares I've been gettin lately, are getting worse the further on I come And I don't know quite how to shut them out. Each time I get one, it get's more and more bloody and violent."

"To make those nightmares worse, all my people were eradicated by vampires, full blooded and powerful, I alone, recieved the power necessary to stop em."

"The other bad news is that in order to reverse your current postion, we need the orb of Ornisius. And I don't know where it is or who it belongs to currently."

The hunter sits down on a bench and gazes at the vampire. "The names Nightwolf, pleased to meet you."

(Invictus from Vampire the Requiem)

You could hear he scream clean across the street. As your eyes look to the source you see a woman in an ally being attacked by a man. Suddenly the attacker dropped the victim on the cold concrete. The once perky African American girl now looks pale and has two clean holes in her neck. She was alive, but unconscious. Then you see her attacker emerge from the ally lighting a cigarette. He was handsome and well dressed. The kind of man you find on Wal Street not in a back ally.

The man then looks to the scene across the street. Upon seeing the hunter and the vampire there he felt the beast inside rises up for a moment. He lets out a feral growl showing his fangs then decides to retreat. Well hunter, you chase the vampire or help the girl?

"What th-" Nightwolf and his "helpers" gaze toward the scream and Nightwolf closes his fist. "Gods. Why now?" He whispered in slight anger. Nightwolf gazed at the female half-vampire and sighed. "I still...have more to tell you, Something I have." He swings on impulse and fires a wooden crossbow bolt aimed towards a figure who croaches near the unconcious human. The figure in it's own perception get's caught in the arm by the bolt, but is still alive.

Nightwolf gazes at the female half vampire again. "Wait here, and watch them." He points at the girl and the man across the street.

"Galager, Stay and protect, Rashad, quest, with me." Nightwolf charged in anger after the vampire. The foolish vampire precieved what Nightwolf had wanted it to. Nightwolf was much more dangerous then your average "human" hunters.

Rashad the tiger moved beside the hero, and quest flew from above giving a precieved "flight-vision" that nightwolf used in his mind along with his own eyes.

He muttered under his breath in a tone complete with anger. "Aspiritus Ashanti"
Nightwolf had not yet revealed what he truly was. And now some ill gocit vampire dares to interrupt his attempt at making a bargain with a halfling.
Now, Nightwolf was in a very "bad" mood indeed.
"I'll see you turned to ashes for interrupting my business, being of hell." He whispered as he followed on the trail of the vampire.

(well if your going to be super gay powered the I'll be super gay powered to match.)

"Who the hell are you with this being of hell crap! I was out for a drink!" Said the man pulling a stake out from his arm. He then tossed the stake at 'Nightwolf' aiming for the torso. "Well then let's see you keep up junior boy!" and with that he vampire leapt 20 feet in the air almost straight up and landed on the adjacent roof top like some bionic ninja from the horrible b kung fu movies.

(super what? zeth, had you ever bothered to wait, you would have "seen" my post where I was about to reveal what nightwolf truly is. But even shaman kings have their limits.)

Nightwolf shifted and took the stake to his wrist when attempting to deflect the weapon.

He focused his eyes on where the vampire was going.
There were somethings that the shaman king couldn't do.
Leaping tall buildings was one of them.

"Dammit." He muttered.

"Can't be chasing that thing all night and keep that half vampire and the girl alone. They could attract a couple lycans."

He stares up at the vampire and narrows his eyes. He shouts up to the minion of hell. "You may have escaped tonight's little chat, vampire. But if you ever show your face around me again, you'll be in for a lot more then a stake."

Nightwolf mutters under his breath and turns running back in the direction of the injured girl and the half vampire.
"Why in jiminy did I let that monster distract me? Damn."

"And now for the worsts news."
He makes a snap of his fingers and galagar and Rishad sat down.

The hunter sits down on a bench and gazes at the vampire. "The names Nightwolf, pleased to meet you."

Moon watched as the hunter ran off."Wait! What stone?"She yelled, her mouth falling open, then she turned to Echo and raised an eyebrow."Follow him...."She muttered.

Echo voiced her disspleasure at the task of following the hunter and the killer vampire but with a flap of her dark wings, she did as her friend asked and followed the pair into the darkness.

He looks up and catches sight of the bird that was with the half vampire.

"Dang, it must have followed me."

He walks back out of the darkness and heads over to the halfling.

"Sorry about that, I wasn't about to go chasing this vampire all across the city."

He kneels down and feels the injured woman's neck.

"No lasting damage." He pulls out a powder and sprinkles it on her neck, closing the mysterious wounds and then adding one extra ingredient should she suddenly begin to turn.

(well in VtM you can't turn unless your sucked almost dry then drink vampires blood. But eh what the hell do I know?)

The woman awakened and her first reaction was a understandable one. She scream and crawled backwards into the alley. Finally she managed to get to her feet and take off through the other end of the ally into the street and seems to fade from veiw.

Upon the roof top the vampire tires of waiting for the shaman. He leaps roof top to roof top then climbs down a fire escape. He was in a poorly lit street across from a busy night club. He relights his cigarette and takes a drag and ponders,'Do I find another 'Bloody Mary' or call it a night?'
