Multiversal Aftermath OOC Thread

I don't think Venom ever met the punisher in my version of history. I could be mistaken, if someone wants to correct me?

Also, someone prod Colvin and Sinful to get some intro action going.
 
Probably not, that's why they're different worlds.

The Punisher Kills the Marvel Universe was an alternate-reality short where, instead of mobsters killing his family, it was a bunch of Superheroes and supervillians having a fight in Central park that ended up with his family dying in the crossfire.

Because of this, and various additional plot points, the Punisher made it his mission in life to hunt down and kill every Superpowered being on the planet.

He succeeded.

This made a great many people very angry since characters behaved extremely out of character to facilitate their deaths, and some of the kills could never happen (Spidey and Venom come to mind, the comic method doesn't even have a chance of working here).

While this version also eventually got access to shit like Dr. Doom's supertech arsenal (after killing the good Doctor of course) and uh, a couple nukes, I'm writing this guy without any of those toys, just the normal guns and such.

Or any other version of the Punisher. Just wondering if Venom would recognize him. Right now, I'm thinking he wouldn't, but I don't know for certain.
 
No need to prod me. I've been brushing up on my Magneto stuff...debating whether he will be close to insanity or the usual lawful kind of villainy that 'must be done' I am also wondering what other character I want to bring in to the whole ordeal. Should have a post by the time I fall asleep today though
 
In a world like Marvel I'm sure just about everyone has at least heard of everyone else. Spidey would know the Punisher so Venom may just because he was in Spidey's head at one point. Not to mention any super group more then likely has at least done some research on the other side, seen em on TV, heard about em, something like that.

Some exceptions apply, of course.

You would think so, but why is it that anytime there is a crossover, they don't immediately recognize eachother, and instead, they fight.
 
Who knows? I'd say if you want him to remember that the guy with black hair and a skull on his shirt shooting at him is the punisher then go for it, although they'll both have different memories of each other, like punisher offing venom in his reality while venom probably pounded the punisher when they met in 616.

Whichever you think would be more interesting.
 
I don't know if they've actually ever met but I'm sure with as much media coverage he'd probably have heard of the Punisher at least. But I'd say go with whatever you would think would be more interesting in this story.
 
Well I think we would all see a bit of a cross over with people recognizing others from thier own home universe/dimension. Like from Marvel, there wouldn't be anyone who knew any history who wouldn't know Captain America, or Anyone who goes to the super market not knowing Spiderman. The Same follows in DC, for Batman whos kind of a shadow figure so he would be in the tabloids where as Superman, its Superman how can anyone not know him.
 
I make a triumphant return, or at least I'd call it triumphant or glorious or something along those lines, and the thread dies. Come on people, lets get rolling on this.
 
I might have Thor go looking for the Punisher then run into Omega Red and we can have a bit of a scuffle. Then I can leave Union Jack with Spidey.

I'm still waiting on Colvin to post as Doom. Until he does Batman is out of play.
 
Woah, so who is this Frankthepunishercastle character? He doesn't seem to be Mr. Incognito but is expanding upon his posts? And if that is Saar I need to reprimand him for his sudden lack of grammar skills.
 
I dunno whats going on there. Whether saar gave up the char to frank, or frank is just trying to jump in and steal it, i guess we'll have to ask and see.

I'm waiting to post for a bit to see what is going on there.
