I'm sorry if this is posted in the wrong place (or if this is a terms violation), I felt like this would be a decent place to try and recruit people.
Anyway, most of my past RP shenanigans have been chat-based, and when Yahoo Chat 'fell,' I was, personally, devastated. Ever since that time (Spring '05) I've been searching for an alternative chat system that can provide some of the features that Yahoo stripped away (namely, user-created rooms and large posting limit) ...
... and after all of these years I have found a chat program that delivers. Together, me and my partner Jay (also a native ayenee guy) have decided to create a community based on this program and chat system.
We're actively recruiting RPers, and we're looking for anyone who misses the ability to create user chats to come down to our community and install the chat software.
Our community/realm is called Libertas, our URLS are:

However, if you wish to just use Solixa, our client of choice, you can download it here:

As far as I know there is no current multi-platform version available yet: a flash version is still in development.
