So, some people here don't ever see bad snow, so I wanted to share the result of Monday with a few folks.

This tree is totally encased in a layer of ice about a centimeter thick.
This is a close up of the same tree's branch so you can see how thick the ice is.
The result of the ice can be beautiful to look at. This was taken in the afternoon, but when you looked at it in the morning, with the sunrise making everything sparkle, it was amazing.
The branches you see here are normally almost completely vertical, but the weight of the ice encasing them is dragging them down. Several pieces broke off under the weight.
This cool little shrub helps point out how every single thing got coated in ice. Each branch got layered. Still don't believe me how the ice got every detail?
Yes, those are individual blades of grass that got coated in the storm. Every blade is encased in ice, and preserved. The extra dusting of snow hides most of it, but you get the idea.
Winter is cool.
And for those of you in florida or california, or wherever it doesn't get cold, keep in mind that this was a non-event really. People here didn't even blink at this kind of weather. It just happens, and we deal with it.
