"Okay," Rena said as she eyed both Rika and Keiichi.

What's going on here? First Keiichi-kun and then Rika-chan..

"Sounds like a good idea!' Rika said as she hurried off inside.

"Grandma's ohagi is probably cold now, eheheheh," said Mion as she walked back inside.

---

It was the end of school, and the gang was together again.

"Sorry guys," said Mion. "I don't think we should do the club today, it's been a pretty rough day after all, heheheh. And it wouldn't be as fun without our master of traps here!"

Rough day is definitely an understatement, she thought to herself.

"Alright," she said. "If that's all, I guess its time for me to head home, see ya guys!"

She waved as she started to head out the door.

Keiichi nodded and left along side with Rena, "Oh yeah I still have to see you home." he said as he scratched his cheek.

"That's right! It's good you didn't forget, Keiichi-kun," Rena said as she walked out of the classroom with him.
**********************

It was a very quiet and solemn walk home for Rika. Slowly, she came into view of the house. With a sigh she headed inside.

"I'm home," she said quietly.

"Bwahahaha, have fun you two," called out Mion as she ran back into the class. "I forgot to do something, you two go on ahead."

She ran back to her locker, and opened it. She pulled out the box for the model gun she tried to give Keiichi earlier.

Why on earth are you so afraid of this, Kei-chan? she asked herself. I want to ask him, but I'm afraid he'll freak out again, maybe, maybe even hate me for it. Maybe someone he knew got shot? Argh---

---

Shion looked up as she heard Rika come in.

That girl, she thought. That utterly irresponsible girl.

She left the bathroom and walked down the stairs.

"So, you're home, Rika-chama," she said, her anger barely hidden in her voice. "It seems you 'forgot' to tell me something. About you pushing Satoko. You let her get drunk, and pushed her down to the ground!? And you just left here there!?"

She started shaking uncontrollably, then breathed out and calmed her body.

"Before I get started," she said. "I want you to tell me that you're sorry. And when I'm done, you're going to tell Satoko you're sorry."

Keiichi walked with Rena and he waved good-bye as they reached Rena's home, "See you tomorrow."

He left with a smile and as soon as he's halfway towards his home he stopped and thought, "I feel like that everyone knows something that I don't..."

He remembered Rika's words, "Past is the Past...Could Rika-chan know something?" He felt fear as he remembered. He sighed it off and decided to buy some food first.

"But-but I didn't push....oh," Rika tried to protest. That.... "I'm really sorry Shii, more than you can know. I didn't want to hurt her. I didn't want to do that at all!"

"But you did," said Shion, accusingly. "You did hurt her. And you need to take responsibility for your actions. Tell me you're sorry."

---

Mion laid down on one of the mats in her house and started reading some of her manga as she started thinking about Keiichi again.

Should I apologise for the gift? she asked herself. Or will that only bring up more painful memories for him? Shit, I wish I knew what to do... damnit!

"Good," said Shion. "Now... you'll have to take responsibility for your actions. This is going to hurt."

She approached Rika and raised her right hand. Clenching her teeth, she brought it down across Rika's face as heard as she could.

Rika stood there and let Shion slap her. It stung quite badly. She brought her hand up to feel the area.

"I'm so sorry. I'm so sorry..."

Shion grabbed Rika by her coller and brought her closer to her face, and swung at her face again, before letting go of her.

"My hand stings now," she said. "Go and apologise to Satoko. I don't want to hear about anything like this ever happening again."

After buying some noodles at Seventh Mart, "How could they forget to leave me some money." Keiichi sighed as he took off.

Rika closed her eyes and grit her teeth as soon as she saw that Shion would do it again. This one stung worse. She looked up at Shion with tears in her eyes.

"I'm so sorry," was all she said before she hurried off to find Satoko.

Shion watched Rika as she ran up the stairs and eventually disappeared. When she did so, Shion wiped her eyes.

I know you didn't mean to hurt her, she thought sadly. You're her best friend after all. You wouldn't have learned your lesson otherwise... that's all.

She slowly walked over to the kitchen, got out a small bag, and filled it with some ice.

This is for when you get back, she said to herself.

She walked over to the phone and dialled a number.

"Hello, Kasai?" she said into the receiver. "Yes, I know I wasn't waiting at school. I'm at a friend's house, and I need you to drive me and two of my friends to the clinic ASAP. I'm at the Furude Shrine. Alright, see you then."

She hung up and sighed.

This is one hell of a first day.

Mion shut her manga and lay it down on the ground.

Alright, she told herself. You can do this.

She went over to the phone, and dialled Keiichi's number.

Keiichi heard the phone rang as soon as he was getting ready for dinner, he sighed and answered the phone, "Maebara Residence."

"Ah, Kei-chan," Mion said. "This is, uh, Mion. Hi."

Don't, she told herself. Don't do it. Don't ask about the gun. Isn't that what I called for? Don't do it. Trust me on this, old man.
