How are you all? Well I hope. I've been combing various rp outlets and enclaves trying to recruit for my new project, and it has brought me here.
The word of the evening is Steampunk, and it's a chat based kind of thing that I'm trying to round up some heads for. I'm looking for seasoned players and new players alike; anyone that has a desire to rouse up some good conflict and write a story worth having been a part of. It's still in the formative stages, but really there's only so much that can be done before players get involved, beyond that it's just get Gaudy and complicated.
Steampunk is a form of Sci-fi based out in the Victorian era. Think Jules Vern Journey to the Center of the Earth, or H.G. Wells the Time Machine. It's mad scientists and Brass Automota, It's colonialism. My take has a twist of fantasy, so there's magics, and a touch of the other side of Victorian Literature, the Gothic.
I'm Looking for players, as I said before, but I'm also looking for a webmaster. Someone who can put me something together that's stylish, fits with the theme, and is excited about starting a new game. You'll have complete control over the website, but i hope you'd at least consider my opinion ; included would be forum admin rights, alongside me.
