If I create a map of the area so we have a visual of where everyone is in relation to everything?

In my mind I have the Ayenee Capital City in the center where the Tower is located. To the west of that almost due west (east of Iron Hold) is Nalya, Theron, Sarah. Im seeing them in a overgrown vale of sorts traversing the mountains that Iron Hold is built into. A bit further west of them I have Iron Hold and almost due south of Iron Hold I have Tor'Mhaelgodin.

East of the tower in the foothills of Ayenee I have Der, Jewel and Gamel. They are in a shallow foothill draw that is overgrown but not badly.

We know The Grey has taken much of the realm except for the Tower, Iron Hold, and Tor'Mhaelgodin and patches here and there.
 
I say as long as all who r involved have input and r in agreeance then it would be ok to create some sort of outline of the region. I just personally have concerns when its called an "official" layout.
So lets see how others feel about it b r going ahead with it.
 
Yeah I understand the desire to want to map out where everything is. But, truthfully, I don't know that it's going to be feasible. Part of the beauty of Ayenee has always been the flexibility it possessed. The map would have to be monsterous to even come close to encompassing. I mean let's face it. Where's the Vampire Tavern?

Ayenee Capital City hasn't ever had a map of it by itself, because there's just way too many variables. To try and create one of all of Ayenee isn't realistic. I can tell you what's immediately around Angelsprite Valley, the Crystal Valley, and a few other places, but where they are in relation to everything else...I don't see it happening.

I would say stick with your imagination as far as locations of landmarks.
 
The dark tower is in the middle of the gray, and making a "rough map" of the area is fine with me. Rough map being where things are kinda located but since Ayenee moves around, it is just that, aa rough kinda guild.
 
yeah Im not proposing a map of Ayenee. Not even sure if drawing map of anything is feasible because just by creating it you are "locking" something in. That has never been our style. I guess every now and then since this has grown we need to to a consolidation post just to clarify where everyone is? Or do we feel like separating the posts out will be good enough for that with a OOC post occasionally to check?
 
Ayenee is something different to everyone. N lets not forget the portals one can travel through. If u want to make up a visual aide just for the sake of explaning within the rp where we r in regards to each other....... then as I said above, all participati g would have to agree .
 
I suggest at the top of each post in bold we put where we are...ie. The forest thick, The dark tower, Valley...etc.
