Brainstormers....get your butts in here.

Everyone on here in some way has creativity of some sort. Therefore I need some ideas. As you know I run a credit repair business, but I'm in the process of changing my business name. RTB Ventures doesn't have any marketability and I'm trying to find some name for my business that both says what I do, and sounds reputable. This industry is so highly regulated that I don't want a name that sounds fly-by-night or out of the garage.

Please be serious on this one, and throw me any ideas that pop in your head!

Thanks!

I was originally thinking something like "Credit Fix" "Fixing your credit one step at a time I do like what you had to say, Charmed. ~Waits for other ideas~

I'll give it some thought, run through my text books. (That's the good thing about a business course, you get a lot of books that help you analyze new companies) I'll come up with a few ideas for ya.

I need as many as you guys can give me, so that I can take them to my marketing lady and see what we can come up with.

Acredited Credit Experts - "All in credit repair"

Got some aliteration, and you guys can use an Ace of diamonds or something as a logo. Professional, alliteration, etc.

Acredited Credit Consulting

I also like Federal Credit Repair - "Fixing America's Credit, One Customer at a Time..

FCR.jpg

Something that implies government authority and whatnot.

$50 please.

The doubling up of the names may be cute, but it's actually been discovered that similar sounding words in a name tends to turn customers off more than it does attract them. This isn't class so I'm not going to cite my sources, I get enough of that crap already.

(btw Ceros, congrats on your 100th post...FINALLY. slacker)

Charm's is good, and Ceros' idea for implying federal is good, as well. My suggestion, as someone with horrendous credit, is something that plays to the paranoid mind of someone trying to fix their credit.

Ceros/Rhysis, a question for the both of you....Ceros (because you're in the military) and Rhysis (because you're in school)

Can I use the word 'Federal' in my company name without it having to be an actual government entity?

(Note: Former military. :p )As far as I know there's no problem with it. I'll check just to be sure.

I was talking to a few people that I know and they said not to use the word Federal, especially with the fact that it's not a government run corp. Everyone's ideas are fantastic. Please keep throwing them at me! The more the better!

Here's some words to see if I can trigger anything:

distinguished
champion
first-rate
exceptional
great
master
accomplished
authority
adviser
specialist
qualified
improvement
mend
reconstruction
restoration
top secret

I need to find both a company name, slogan and logo. Any ideas?

Side note-If you want to be listed in the phone book in high order you'll need a company name that starts with an A

That's actually not a problem for me, since I'm the only one in all of southern Utah that's even doing this. Therefore when people look up credit, I'm the only one that they see.

Friendly Finances or something along that line. I've run my own businesses in the past they just never worked out because I didn't put myself forward. I kinda let em lapse because of not enough time between my own job school and running a business but I really think the word friendly screams goodwill in a business. I was thinking of starting a dollar store and calling it friendly dollar

The one barrier that I have to be careful of is the word finances. I handle credit report repair, I don't want people to think that I loan out money or am a bank or anything of that nature.

What do you guys think about:

Champion Credit Repair:
In the fight for good credit, it pays to have Champion in your corner.

(with a boxing spin on it)

I still like friendly, maybe change the finances to credit pro's or credit repair. Could also go with heavyweight, or solutions, fixer-upper. homerun solutions. Maybe go with a blunt name like Credit Repair People
