I've been keeping watch on this latest discussion you moderators are having about the problem posters and the like, and to those who chose to keep that thread where it is, I say with all sincerity in my voice, thank you.
For at that time, I wasn't actually "aware" of where to go.
Anyhow, it seems that both lowther and madilin would wish to keep some moderator tasks, on the quiet side.
And while I do see both viewpoints on the subject, I do have perhaps a couple of suggestions on the matter.
Firstly, if there is some sort of problem going on, the best way plausible to dealing with it, is to enter the private messages option.
But, I also had an idea about this.
You moderators who wish to discuss things that you don't want the public to see, but you do want your fellow mods to read.
Why not go into a private or locked chat room and then give the password only to your fellow mods, and then discuss some stuff that way.
This way, you have "actual" interaction with each other and you can figure out what path's you want to straighten out and the like.
I'm sure there's "times" where you could compromise with your fellow moderator that you wish to talk with, say if it was perhaps madilin and Lowther.
They could both find the time to arrange a scheduled chat room meeting with each other to discuss things.
Secondly, as mith stated you could talk about it via email or even by a moderator's only yahoo group of some sort where your requested to give a certain password. But if you are going to choose this option, then please write the password down "And" copy/paste it to notepad and save the notepad on your computer "Somewhere" that you can find it easily without going nuts.
I'll continue to observe this thread, and if I think of any other ways to help you keep your privacy, but allow you to allow "us" community members to see what's going on, I'll let you know via here.
Peace
