It was another beautiful day at Ayenee Park. The sky was clear, the air crisp, and it's inhabitants all seemed to be in a decent mood. Here within Ayenee there was always a new adventure to be had or experience. In a world where anything was possible all one had to do was imagine. Ayenee was unlike any other place, here you were free to be yourself, to dare to be different.

The sun’s warming rays shone down upon the green foliage of the Ayenee Capital City Park. This sunny day brought life of both the two legged nature and the four legged nature out to enjoy the bliss. People of all sizes walked, ran, jogged and played with in the confines of the park, a few even sat lazily upon the grass enjoying a picnic or just the company of others. Occasional shrieks or giggled sounds of joyful children playing traveled from the far end of the park where the children’s playground and basketball courts lay.

In the middle of the park stood a massive Oak tree, its vast branches spread out in a fan that was large enough to give shade to 20 picnickers or more. Its low branches where often a temptation for older children to climb, its higher branches often found themselves host to squirrels playing endless rounds of tag. But today the tree’s only living company besides a few bugs was a large feline.

Yes, among the thick, dark Oak leaves, stretched out for comfort, a feline of umber orange so dark it could be mistaken for back lay in half slumber under a lone sun beam that had filtered down. The sounds of the children’s delightful fun, voiced in high pitched squeals and shrieks caused the feline to shift its body, nails dancing over the rough tree’s bark, tail swishing for a moment as it’s eyes slide open to reveal a deep emerald gaze. Finding herself in no danger of being discovered by sticky fingered, tree climbing children, the large feline gave a yawn large enough to reveal the wicked ivory teeth that lay beneath the soft fuzz of her muzzle, then closed her eyes and returned to her sun baking slumbering cat nap.

Hiro shows up in his white t-shirt and cargo pants. In the center of the mat with people gathered around it. It was a show down! No, it was *the* showdown. But they were not fighting, they were break dancing! "You got any moves kid?" a young man said looking at Hiro. "Is that a challenge?" Hiro asked in reply. Wordlessly he then steps onto the mat. The song 'One More Time' by Daft Punk plays on a boom box.

Hiro feels the rythim of the music and starts to dance. He starts off with moves that look like 'the robot' then starts to spin on his head. He finishes by doing a windmill then popping into a star! As the song ends he hears appluads from the crowd. But then the Next challenger shows up.

Brandon walked along Ayenee Park with an unadorned cap perched sideways upon his head, cargo pants being worn with a stripe down the side and a denim jacket. The day had been relatively peaceful, got up earlier that day and watched some music dvds while having breakfast. Brandon had then decided that a stroll down to Ayenee Park as just the ticket. He strolled along, glancing here and there at the numerous people passing by...kids on skateboards, on foot, climbing low-lying tree branches, and playing tag further in the park. There was some few people gathered around in one particular spot, where beating music was playing and one guy there was break-dancing skilfully.

Brandon paused as he gazed at the contest unravelling nearby and the cheering by the spectators. He decided to take a closer look...

Nicholas Sherps

A tall, thin gentleman in a business suit strolls into the park. He carries a briefcase at his side as he walks along the park's walkway. As he passes the kids breakdancing, he quickens his pace just slightly, trying not to let his nervousness show. Perhaps they can smell his fear.

As the thumping music fades behind him, his thumping heart returns to its normal pace. He would not be mugged today, it seemed. With a grateful sigh, he sits down on a bench, near a waterfountain. The sound of the bubbling water is soothing, and he relishes it for just a moment before reaching into his briefcase and retrieves a slim, silvery laptop. Opening up the top, and setting it on his lap, the businessman is greeted with a cheerful chime. He pops in a wireless network card into a slot at the side of the computer. Like a key opening a vault of knowledge, the laptop now has access to the vast data available via the internet. A few clicks later, he is typing away at the laptop. Each tap-tap of the keys interrupting the burbling fountain behind him.

Nothing like enjoying a day outside and being productive at the same time.

-From the files of Walter the Angry Mallard-

Walter, was a mallard, the king duck amongst the millions of other ducks who frequented the parks ponds and small lake. Although he was an angry mallard known for biting and chasing children, and stealing businessmen's papers and dropping them into the lake.

On this particular day however Walter was in a particularly fowl mood. Walters eyes caught sight of the little gangster kids whose music was disruptive to his home and feathers but paid little heed to them as he saw a man in a business suit walk past them towards the fountains benches. He had found his human prey. Leaning back in the water his chest out he flapped his wings a few times before gaining the lift he needed to come out of the water and fly towards the bench. Walter figured a fly by would be enough to scare the man and perhaps produce some papers from his briefcase of which Walter would drag to a watery grave.

Nicholas Sherps

Nicholas jerked his head up and looked around wildly as something flew by his head. He expected to see one of the kids standing around looking guilty, accompanied by a football or frisby or something.

However, there were no kids around at the moment. And the only creature was a duck.

Nicholas adjusted his glasses, although there was no need. "Here ducky. Here ducky. Have some lunch with me?"

He reaches into his breifcase and pulls out a brown lunchbag. From inside of that, he pulls out a ham sandwich. A bit of the bread is torn off and he tosses it into the fountain for the duck to eat.

GO!

Before brandon new it the crowd grabs him and pushes him on stage. The young japanese man hero exits the stage. OH no they mistook Brandon for the next challenger! Then the music starts top play.

(HA! I put you on the spot for I am evil! You get to pick the song though.)

Brisk, the breeze guiding that errant stranger among the tattered rays of sunlight. Limned in a gauzy mist, barely the blade of grass shuddered in his passing. The forest's loving lilt, that carefree song of nature, had its effect on the beumused appearence. A soft, petulant smirk marked the elegant features remniscent of a porcelain mask.
Treading with mild indifference, step in step with utter silence, he breaks pace next to an ancient tree. Limbs swaying with the wind's song, the two step grapple and swing of momentum fluid with its ease. Perched among the branches watching the populace, a single exhaled breath is effort's only respite.

Brandon suddenly felt himself being thrust into the break-dancing arena, and the music began its beat. The young man identified the song as 'Switch' by Will Smith...just the ticket for now...a cool guy such as Smith breaking out the moves with him. He grinned slightly as he began his breakdancing. Brandon spun on his head crazily to the beat of the music, and then proceeded to spin one arm and then the other. The small crowd of spectators, including who was meant to be the next challenger, cheered at his efforts in the small arena and grooved along with 'Switch'. Brandon completed his routine with two leg and arm spins accompanied by a head spin and an arm spin to finish off.

The music finished...the next challenger passed him and commented," Not bad moves buddy," The young man commented," but lets see what I can pull off!"

Brandon smiled and replied," All of us are a hard act to follow, but for myself, especially being one who hasn't breakdanced in ages, it's a damn good effort"
The guy nodded and proceeded to the small arena of spectators...the next beats began to sound out.

Upon entering Ayenee Park Charm heard the music blaring and the sounds of people who seemed to be cheering others on for some reason or another. As she walked further in she saw a group of people whom had gathered around others dancing. A pleasant sight but Charm wanted some privacy, she took the long way around avoiding the crowd to her usual spot which was under a very large oak tree.
Finally arriving at the tree, Charm removed her drawing pad from her bag and sat upon the ground leaning back against the trees truck. She let her eyes scan over the area looking for just the right scene to draw. With a sigh she leaned her head back and closed her eyes. She was disappointed, there just wasn't anything that caught her eye.

Walter would have smiled had ducks the ability. He wattled towards the man his thoughts dark and truly malevolent, sadly for Mr. Sherps it was truly unnoticeable from the standard senses. Waddling over towards Mr. Sherps as the bred he had tossed into the fountain grew extremely soggy. Walter grew closer and closer his moment was coming, all he had to do was get close enough.

Looking at the man he flapped his wings out and pushed off from the ground landing on the bench next to the man. Turning his neck he gazed at his target knowing the mans curious nature would cause him to turn his face and then the moment to strike and bit the mans nose would appear. All walter needed was patience.

(lol Duck got yer nose!!)

The rustle of leaves alerted the sleeping cat to a presence in the next tree over, thinking it was perhaps that large noisy duck that had landed in the tree or a squirrel in search of mischief, the feline opened her eyes and peered across the way. But it was not a duck, or even a squirrel, but a full grown human. To this sight the cat perked a brow in slight wonderment, for she knew that children and an occasional teenager often perched among the parks tree branches, she very rarely saw a full grown human. Before she could truly ponder this strange human male, she was sure it was male by the scent it gave off, another sound, and a lot closer, drew her attentions.

The large, now fully awake feline peered downward to the base of the tree and watched a human female settle upon the grass with her back against the rough bark. She continued to watch with growing curiosity as the female pulled a book and a writing utensil from a pack. The cat was aware of these kinds of human tools, she was a wise cat who had lived many a years and spent many a warm days in this tree viewing the actions of the human population. She had even sat still a time or two as some human drew or painted her majestic image on to paper.

Perhaps this female wished to draw something of great beauty? Well then she may just be in luck thought the feline as she rose to her feet and shook off the last cobwebs of sleep. With a swish of her tail she sent a few leaves sailing down around the woman, and incase the woman thought a foul little squirrel was the leaf sender, the feline let out a meow to announce her presence.

Walter bit the nose hard and tight holding on for a second as the mans attention seemed to be gaining the idea of pulling away. The moment of reaction the ducks bill opened and his neck reared back. Opening his wings to their full span and flapping them hard towards the man, knowing full well he would not take off. Walter knew the time was his now all he needed to do was attack with a furious number of bites to the mans face to make him run away crying. Although the man could easily hit the duck away or hit the duck with a laptop if the man had a moment to think, so Walter would have to keep the mans mind reeling.

As she leaned against the tree with her eyes closed she was disturbed by the falling of leaves, one which landed on her nose.
"what the?"
Charm shook her head and the leaf feel to the ground. Just then she heard the faint sound of a cat mewing. Looking towards the direction of the meow Charm saw a Very large orange cat which seemed to be smiling down at her.
"Well hello there."
Smiling up to the cat she tried to keep very still so not to frighten it off, but just as she went to call to the beautiful creature there was a man yelling at a duck? Startled by the man whose nose just got pecked by one of the parks wild critters she couldn't help but to laugh. Still laughing Charm returned her focus back to the cat which she had hoped she hadn't frightened off with her laughter.
"Did you see that?" she asked the cat.
Realizing she said that aloud Charm looked about to see if any one may of over heard her. My, what would someone think if they had heard me and not seen anyone here that I would be talking to. Laughing to herself this time she thought that they would most likely think me a crazy person for talking to myself. Shrugging it off, and not really caring what anyone might of though of her, she returned her focus upon the large orange cat and wondered if it was friendly or not.
"Here kitty", Charm called to the creature.
"Your so beautiful, and the most interesting sight I have seen yet, would you allow me to draw your picture?"

Nicholas Sherps

Nick fought back against the tears of pain as he reached up and grabbed the wild animal and tried to push him away. Assuming he had the strength to do so, Nick quickly stood up and backed away from the duck, holding his arms half up in an untrained defensive instinct, in case the duck tried to attack him again. "Get the heck away from me, you stupid bird!

(towards Charm) WHAT ARE YOU LAUGHING AT? HUH?!?"

Looking very angry, Nick gathers up his laptop, and grumbles to himself about stupid ducks who attack people who just try to feed them.

Had Walter only taken that weight gainer and pumped more iron maybe he could have fought off being pushed back by the man, but alas he was pushed back and his attack halted. Squatting down low on the bench where the man had lept from Walter extended his neck fully and tried to mimic a dogs growl which sounded like an angry quack at best. Thinking over the situation he had made the man suffer a bit. He had also made him the object of a girls laughter. Now he would make his next move, but what it should be Calling in the First Quack Brigade and having them rally around the fountain for an all out assault, or perhaps handling things personally.

It was clear what Walter would need to do, this human had just insulted his intelligence, and although he was often insulted by humans after he had mauled them or stolen their papers, it irked him. Looking with eyes glazed over with Furry he snapped his bill loudly at the man many times before spreading his wing. He would make Alfred Hitchcock proud!

Nicholas snaps up his briefcase and starts walking very quickly away from the crazy duck. He mutters to himself and stuffs his laptop into the briefcase as he leaves the scene. "Must be mating season or something for a duck to act that crazy. All I need now is for Elmer Fudd to show up and this will be a complete portrait."

Brandon began to walk away from the breakdancing contest and headed deeper into the park, away from the crowds congregating around the contest arena. Squirrels scurried to and fro over the foliage and some pigeons twittered above the branches, calling out to potential mates for mating season. The young man continued on through this, and found a nice spot to rest after the recent bout of breakdancing...not that he had been really expecting to breakdance this very day but who cared? T'was a nice day in which one had to squeeze every bit of fun and fulfillment out of...that was it really. Brandon settled by a pond and watched as some ducks landed at a nearby pond.

The young man then turned his head as if startled, and witnessed a most amusing sight. A duck had suddenly flown up and was biting a man on the nose...Brandon laughed out loud at the sight, as did a few others nearby including a small woman sitting beneath a tree with a cat. He fiddled absently with the Swatch Watch on his left wrist as he watched the few others nearby, and also saw the man bitten by the duck fleeing the scene with laptop in hand.

Brandon discovered a small chocolate bar in his zip pocket and found it to be a Hersheys bar...his stomach grumbled, and he tore open the wrapper.
