Of Late as many of you have probably noticed, we have a thread in the chronicles called stuff. Where Charm happens to display her Banner wares and takes requests for creations to be made. As such after talking to her for a little while we touched on the idea of her getting in base necessity a sub forum in the chronicles where she can offer her skill and take requests with out disturbing the posting of the chronicles. So before I went a head and placed it up I wanted some in put from you guys to see if anyone had any arguments or ideas for it.
 
My only concern is that because its the most active thread in the chronicles, that we will take the live out of that forum, except for the sub forum.

Don't want to kill the goose with golden eggs, as the saying goes.

But I don't frequent that forum, so if you think there is enough other traffic to sustain a subforum and the main forum, go ahead.
 
Well typicaly, the Chronicals is always a quiet forum, poets, song writers, artists as well as orginal authors only post so often in there, as it is. Aside from that the Stuff Thread is mainly to do with banners and requests for banners to be made which does not exactly fit the mold of the original design for the chronicals.
 
I vote yes for a sub-forum so C can continue displaying her skills, and taking requests along with compliments in her own little area.
 
I havn't even looked at that forum since we opened here. If the traffic would still be steady with it done then I don't see a problem with it.

Funny... I thought that was perfectly in line with the chronicles' purpose... a place for artists to show off their work, get feedback, and possibly take requests.

Also, my minimalist tendencies tell me that unless this is something she requested, then leave it be. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. ((man... two posts and two catchphrases... wtf?))
 
So, I talked with Charmed. I wanted to get her thoughts, since this directly relates to her.

I found out that the real problem here, from what I can understand, is that her personal work and her 'commissioned' work was clashing and interfering with eachother. It seems to me that sub-forums is a big solution for a small problem. Thus, she suggested 3 seperate threads. one for personal work, one for taking commissions, and one for delivering. I suggested 2 threads. one for personal work and one for both taking and delivering commissions. She agreed to that.

Problem solved.
