(ooc- Ullery, I am a tad confused by your post. The time frame is Present Day and you have "An armored warrior with an unusual looking sheathed sword" standing "outside" the Cafe? Could you please edit your post so it makes better sense, or explain here so any other members who wish to participate in this RP can better understand why you made the post that you did.....thankyou)

(what's to make sense? If it's present day and/or modern day, aren't there still warriors that exist like the samarui or the kin kuei?
Ah anyway, the warrior who's meditating "outside" the local cafe here, is a shadows of deception order member. Basically he has codes on when to engage in battle and all that kinda like the ninja and samarui do. He fight's clean and honest, But the shadows of deception are kind of like trained assassins. They can be hired to kill someone for the right price.
He does have some magical/spiritual power but I can explain that in detail if needed.)
 
(ooc-Perhaps then could you explain Why such a persona would be standing outside a "internet Cafe" in a "present day" setting dressed in armor with an unusual looking sheathed sword..? I could understand if you started as a regular person who went to the Cafe and proceeded to go to a RP forum on the net or something of that nature. But to start out as you did I just need to understand more fully. )
 
(okay to clarify, our internet cafe thing is based on modern but it's roleplay related correct? well think of it this way then, in our modern times, we have visitors from other countries and secret gangs and organizations that run dark and deep across the globe. Now consider this, just because he's dressed in his light-weight armor that doesn't mean he's actually doing anything against the law. All he's doing right now is sitting there meditating.
One could consider that if one inside the cafe or around it were to notice the insignia and look it up and find out what it meant, then one could hire him for a job. The fact that he's not currently participating in the "inside" area of the cafe, doesn't mean it's always going to be that way.
Just because he has an unusual looking sword, which isn't even out right now, doesn't mean that he "has" to use said weapon. It's there merely in case of necessity.

Now if you need further explanation about this, then feel free to ask.)
 
OOC_Well Ullery's character is just one of those kooky LARP (Live action role play) role players and is in a fully decked out costume. ;P

The guy isn't an arper zeth, he's from a gang or organization type.
Oh and btw, he is going to be my rp character in this story.

Ullery, much props for being in a modern era with some badass armor. I always wanted to see someone sitting outside the local coffee shop dressed as a knight, or a ninja. Or a ninja-knight in black shiny armor. It'd just be way more fun!
 
I personally find Ullery's character to be a bit disproportionate to the intended storyline but RP is RP. Really though, whether or not he is from some samurai code or an LARPer is of no consequence as long as his actions make sense in context to the entirety of the situation. Still, Ullery is being somewhat unfair compared to the other characters involved and to the general intent of the RP altogether but as long as you all accept it then it should be fine. Anyway, I was thinking of joining the RP but I have my reasons why I am not joining in =\ Looks good though...interesting read thus far. Keep it up
 
Indeed it is interesting...the scene is set for many interesting characters to meet...my post will see my character intermingling(at least soon enough) with the other characters described with the thread.

As "Strange" as my character is, you might just find that this individual may actually "hold" a sense of humor, but don't quote me on that just yet.

Mkay, since this is the OOC thingy, I figure I'd throw it out here. My character has an addiction to something called Pigment (ref: Orpheus) and a level 1 addiction to smoking. So, that's why she inhales cancer sticks with writing.

But if you were constantly hunting spooky things that hide under the bed, dammit, you'd smoek too.
 
Um I never drew a weapon Ullery, also just for your own edification, the second you would have shattered the window the police would have drawn thier weapons and opened fire aiming for the knees, shoulders. Also Autoing that you grabbed Raharanor and used him a shield/hostage seems a bit out of place. Especialy when Charms first post regarding the place stated in no uncertain terms

(I figured mine as well make a thread to get this thing going. NPC is allowed. Don't auto interactions with another Rp'er, Please check with your fellow member befor interacting with thier personna. for clarification reasons. A. my character never did a darn thing wrong in the first place.
B. Your cops were the ones who initially acted hostile with their hands upon their weapons and telling my char to drop his when he didn't even have it drawn!
And C. I didn't auto anybody. I talked with raharanor before any of the hostage situation happened!
I asked for his permission to use him as a hostage and he allowed me to do so in the words that it would be interesting to see how it all went out.
 
Ullery, you should of ooc- in the beginning of your post to inform all participating that it was cleared with Richard. So once again your upset for actions towards you in which you plainly caused for yourself. I don't know what your problem is and honestly I could care less.
To avoid any further problems, and to prevent more of this BS, I am withdrawing from the RP.

DAMMIT ALL this was in the genre anything and everything and she invited us to bring any character. If a 7 foot lizard masn was standing out front playing the yuka lay la you would just have to be cool with it. You guys didn't even bother asking him if he had a class S sword license.

*sighs*

Yes, Mitsuhide Akatchi Died yesterday in front of Moms Cafe, where as the character Ullery plays and your characters are all fine. There was not chance police officers would just stand there and watch what all happened in the posting yesterday, so I just used the vagueness of my primary post as a way for me to withdraw from the scene as obviously they couldn't have been called to that cafe.
