Hey! You want a spell-check?

I do too. But as of now, it looks like thats a difficult thing to do.

HOWEVER!!!!

If you download Firefox 2, it has a spell checker built in, which you can not only use here, but in every forum that you ever use. Ever!

Do it.
 
No offense sj, but try telling that to some of my pals at the underworld evoloutions multiplayer game and they'll have something in return to explain to you!

You won't catch me downloading that thing on my computer.
 
I understand that it will not be an easy task SJ, However as Ceros handed that job to you he must have faith in your ability to handle it. Downloading another internet browser may work for some people, but you and I know that prefrence differs from user to use and as such many will be unwelcoming to getting another browser just for a spell check function. Let's not advertise for something, in the support forum, that's paying us to.
 
I remember that the Google Task Bar has a built in spell-check as well, and it's compatable with IE so you don't have to use FireFox, Madi.
 
There's also hundreds of word processors out there with spell checks built in. It'd be a cool feature to have, but alot of forums manage without one.

I never said I was giving up. However, if some donkey user wants the feature, without waiting for me to beat the shit out of the people at vBulliten to get the appropriate files, I wanted to give them a viable alternative, just because i'm the motherfucking tooth fairy who leaves you shiney quarters, in exchange for your rotted, saliva-ridden, cavity-punctured oral refuse.

Those cockmongers are so paranoid about their files, that I am jumping through hoops to get them and they still aren't happy. I'm getting the impression that I'm going to end up having to apply lavish proportions of 'Curb Stomp' on their asses before one of the blithering idiots decides to take his dick out of his secretaries ass, and actually grants me the much coveted access to the Spell Checker files.

When I get home from work tonight, I'll write them an email, and I will not be as fucking chipper as I am right now. I fully intend to use my angry voice!

And for the record, I passed it off to SJ because I am a horrible slacker - not because I have faith in his abilities..

Actually, vBulletin doesn't 'Officially Support' spell check for it's programs, so it has to be one of those 'third party hacks'. We will endevor to get you a spellcheck. Well, SJ will.

I can totally understand being pissed off, but I don't think writting a nasty e mail will get you very far. Well, it most likely will be read, and you -may- get a reply, but I doubt it will accomplish much.

Now you may procede to tell me off.
 
LOL, yeah I realized that after it was made. Maybe someone with compassion will offer to make me a new one.

The tone there is that you are trying to give me a pep-talk. That irritates me.

Also, the techs at Ayenee.org have a proud tradition of making recommendations to those who aren't as tech savvy. We've always tried to go above and beyond just keeping the forums running. We give advice on what hard drive to pick, how much memory you need, and whether its worth it to upgrade to that new fangled processor thingy that those guys at intel came out with or if AMD is worth more bang for buck. I fully intend to continue give advice for technical problems and if that means recommending a product, without being paid for it, so be it.
 
Anyways, Spell Check is now installed. You should see a little ABC-check icon in the upper-right corner of the text boxes. Enjoy.
