I never imagined taverns the way there were imagined by the owners apparently. Oh and I remember your tavern now, I interviewed for a job there once. I think it was on my thief character, back when I was stealing the money from every tavern I came across. It funded his daughters schooling in magic and bought them a nice little mansion and title. See I would have never imagined a parking lot for a tavern, a bar maybe, but tavern sounds rustic enough to be missing a parking lot. I also realized that taverns had to be near towns, because a tavern that was a week away from any town, would eventually either become a town, or be avoided like the plague due to it just happening to be in the middle of nowhere.
This dawned on me when I came across a bbq joint down here in Arkansas, it was across the street from a cemetery, it was also a tow service and mechanic, was in the middle of nowhere, and it had at least a mile of disabled, rusty, broken down vehicles behind it, and there was also a swamp down the road. I was like yeah, going to avoid it. It was right off the highway, but the only thing aside from a porn video store there. Could have been the best bbq in the world, but I value myself.
