The elder dragon had grown tired of playing cat and mouse. He had never been one to enjoy drawing out a fight any longer than necessary, but the fact that he was so curious about what the other two had planned forced him to do just that. Still, his patience was wearing thin. Some of the most powerful creatures in existence had granted him abilities to go along with his distinguished positions, and with the exception of a select few of his closest allies and friends, none knew the full extent of his capabilities. He'd included in his warning to the monster that he had further surprises at his disposal, and now he decided to reveal one of his cards.
As he stared full on at the oncoming attack, he let himself fall until he knew they would be in range of any attack Baros and Asana could cook up. Then, using a combination of elemental and psionic energy, stood, not hovered, in mid air. There he stared into the oncoming eyes of the Hellwyrm as the other attacks came.
The bile mixture hit, dead on target as intended. His centuries spent in close connection with the Omniclad Angels had been what ultimately resulted in his being granted immunity from hellish powers. He had spent three decades trapped within the heart of the abyss itself, and without SevenStars to guide the way out, had been forced to adapt to the environment and ultimately learn to focus the energy of the abyss in order to find the way out. The fire included in the Hellwyrm's attack scorched the air around it, but cooled instantly upon contact with the dragon's hide. The acid, though an offshoot of earthen powers, was still elemental in origin, and thus ineffective against any elder dragon, who had immunity to anything elemental.
The emotional attack was invisible to the sense of sight, but easily visible to one who had control over mental powers. Fang did nothing aside from close his mind and waited for the attack to hit. With the mastery over mental forces he held, when his mind was closed, not even beings composed of psychic energy could break through, and this attack was no different. Finally, there was the Hellwyrm itself, and Fang knew exactly how he would deal with that. He leaned back, placing most of his weight on his back legs, and shoved SevenStars forward. If the beast continued, it would find itself impaled on a weapon that focused the energy of the seven arch angels, being held up by a claw that was held in place by the same energy combination that held Fang to the air as if it were bedrock. If it pulled up, it would have a chance to contemplate what manner of being it faced who could withstand such attacks without so much as flinching.
