I must admit I came by this board the other day when doing some research about the original kellindil's site. Kellindil's site was my first solid introduction to Ayenee and all things yahoo chat rp back at the end of 1999, early 2000. I still have some printed copies of the web pages which I printed off the site so that I could 'study' the rules on T1 and T2 during my work breaks. (Oh, yes I have Nerd imprinted on my forehead.)
I roleplayed in yahoo chat, Ayenee, Jacmus, Adult, Tenaria, Romance, Eden, Mordor and Jacmus-Prime over a 4-5 year period. On occasion I type out a paragraph or two still, mostly with my husband of 5 years who I met and who also roleplayed in Jacmus / Eden days (2000).
I still enjoy high fantasy roleplay usual set in a similar period to Medieval and I don't mind a spot of D&D from time to time. My first character in Yahoo was Mystletoe who didn't last long. She had her soul stolen. Poor thing. Then there was Melrose who rose up to become a Queen of a clan of 'rings' in Yahoo chat. She actually inspired alot more roleplay than I ever could have imagined. There were also a handful of others who danced in and out of all the realms.
Anyway I was just passing through; my 6 month old daughter has a cold and I am at home looking after her, and currently she is sleeping. I will probably come back to scour the board for history and roleplays to read through. I am trying to compile a history of old realms/worlds/rpgs for one of my sites. Since wikipedia doesn't see fit to record our memories for posterity, I thought I'd give it a go. So here I was researching...
Congrats on still keeping your community strong and the roleplay going.
