It seems we have slumped a little in our ever present need for RP, So we would like to know what kind of Rp you are all looking for ? Or if you have an Idea for a plot line that you want some ideas for ask it here. If you are currently in a plot that seems to have stalled and would like some ideas on how to get it back up and running ask that here too.

Hrm... does anybody have any ideas as to how I might be able to breath some more vigorous life into Chaos Theory? ... 'Not that it isn't moving along or anything like that, I'm just wondering if there's something it's lacking that would draw more people in.

My desire for RP is to have a bunch of crazy cross-genreal epic stuff!! :)

The only thing that I can think of for Chaos Theory is a little more of a defined area to play in. The People who are taken, are taken to a nice happy place, but its not clearly defined what they would encounter the moment they are taken, or more over if they will all have a similar encounter to the first person you showed being taken. So I would say perhaps a little more detail on the areas (geographic locations) you happen to be in or sending them to as a cloud of doom and such.

Zeth - I can sympathyze. So what about a Rp based in the pre meijie era under the Tokugawa shogunate ?

OK!

Let me look up the Mieji era first.

Matt, you need either ninjas or pirates. Plain and simple.

Erk...

I saw the suggestion for a samurai type thing, and I kind of balked.

I've never been an anime fan, or a japan-fan. And if something like that came up, I'd be unlikely to join it because of my unfamiliarity with it.

I'm a fan of the high-fantasy stuff, myself. Wizards, warriors, elves, dwarves, etc etc. I also like some of the more classical demon/angel stuff. I don't get into the futuristic games. Vampires and werewolves are ok, but I don't particularly buy into the WoD brand.

I might be curious enough to join a d20 Modern, if someone set that up in table top. definetly anything traditional D&D in tabletop, i'm down for. I've been thinking of starting one up actually, but didn't know how many people would be interested in playing.

I've also been battling back and forth with the idea of a combat club type system, but maybe with a stricter rule base (d20 probably) instead of freeform. I've really moved away from freeform in the past few years.

heh, i wouldn't object, i suppose.

I also kind of liked Matt's Chaos Theory idea, where he took a bunch of everything and just threw it all together, to see what happened. But I never ended up joining because I was really unsure how to start, or where to fit in.

Defined Area? Okay, that's going to happen then, definitely. I've sort of been building to the whole "getting taken up" thing, but I'll get to it in a more timely manner now. :)

Pirates? Ninjas? ... Hey everything's possible!

That era is all artsy and fartsy. I just want to have guys hacking the hell out of eachother with swords.

Then perhaps a day at the park will bring some suprises to you both?

{Points to his Dark War thread in RP Discussion} I'm still trying to see what the vote and comments are about DW, if I should wake it up or just let it go fully comatose.

T, I say this as a friend, a hindu god, and as me, most of our members know little of the DW plot line, and what alterations you have been doing to it, so what you may want to do is update them on what progress you've made and when they can expect it to be opened again.

I'm working on that as well since I have some free time for the next couple days in between errands. Thanks for the input on that.

OK now about the samurai.

The CONcept. You are in a medevil type setting similiar to japan. Goblins and fantasy creatures exist but humans pretty much rule the land. Kinda like oriental adventures but more open and free form i suppose. Anyone Intrested?
