Way back in 1999-2002 was when I lived and breathed Ayenee. I started out with Catherine_Steele (ending as Catherine_Steele_Shadowheart after she became involved with Kerenthos_Shadowheart) who was one of the Chiron family out of The Lair (burnttiger, Chance_Tempter, Carisa_Morgan, etc.) Some of my other alts included Rhyssa_Shadowdancer (no, not part of the clan of that name LOL I named her that before I even knew there *was* such a clan) and Kestral_Grastari, one of the gypsy clan founded by Destarta_Grastari.

Ayenee was where I met the man that I would marry after playing with him almost nightly for most of 5 years. Only a few months ago he told me he wanted a divorce so I've been feeling more nostalgic about back in the day, you know? I was reading old transcripts from back then (yeah, yeah, compulsive packrat here ;) ) and it got me curious about whatever happened to folks from Ayenee and whether anything at all was still going on.

Which led me here. :) I'd love to try dusting off the old skills.
 
Well I'm sorry to hear about the split, but it's nice to see a familiar name. I don't recall actively playing anything alongside you, but I saw your name around a few times. I was a whole slew of characters, so I can't really say as I know which one you might know. My more common ones were Fang_CryClad, Dektr_DarkRaven, Child_Anon_WarriorHealer, and Darion_Angelus.

Activity here kinda comes and goes as real life invades our own nostalgic minds. We also have a lot of lurkers. By all means, feel free to start something if you want, or any of the ones you see my name in you can throw whatever you want in. There may be a few others that decide to do something, as well. Given that list of characters, I'm assuming you prefer the fantasy genre?
 
Hmm, Dektr_DarkRaven sounds possibly familiar. Or maybe Child_Anon_WarriorHealer.

Well, Ayenee was always kind of a mish-mash so most nights were sort of an odd combination of things. LOL

I guess modern fantasy would best describe it? Catherine was a half-angel werecat (the half-angel part got added on later when she got folded into the Chiron family at The Lair) with a rather complicated and dark psyche she was working her way through. Kestral was an empathic healer and young in the ways of the world. Rhyssa was an anthro cat, all innocent sensuality. Oh, and Illmet_by_Moonlight was a being of the Fae, that took physical form as the whim took it, often so it could feed off of the emotions of others. There was also a lovely bit of game that never did get finished where 4 of us were playing out story from FF Tactics where I played Princess Ovelia Atkascha.
 
You know, Rhysis is right. Reese Blackthorne does sound kind of familiar.

Maybe I should splice all of my transcripts into one huge monster file so I can search for names! LOL
