One step at a time. . .
It's good to see this place still around albeit sad it's barely a shell of it's former glory. I just can't seem to stay away. This place grabbed my heart some 13 years ago and I don't think it will ever let go.
Just a shout out to those still lingering, those that visit and browse from time to time like I do, and to a couple of people I played with frequently, whether they visit anymore or not. I miss you guys. Immersing myself in Ayenee saved me a lot of stress by offering an escape in my troubled youth and I will always treasure the time that was spent in Ayenee, even the bad times when a cocky youth let power, inexperience and a short temper get the best of him.
I would especially like to shout out to Tifferzzz and apologize for dangling my repeated attempts at reviving an old RP in front of your face only to disappear again and again. I would very much like to try again though, if you are still around. I would understand if you have no interest.
It's cheesy but I had a dream about you last night, or more specifically your character. It's rare that I remember my dreams and I can't begin to imagine what triggered it. I've been writing a lot more lately so I'll assume it was just brought on by old memories. Or maybe it's a sign that I need to dust off my keyboard and get back in character.
