What up everyone.

I've been hankering for some text role play for awhile now. Jay has also. I started googling and found this site.

They had 70 people on when I was in there. Surprisingly, a bunch of good writers. I'm actually RP'ing in there as I type this. What I'm thinking is: we can create our own room in this place and treat it like Ayenee. I'd be willing to re-write Jeffy's T1 rules (Same rules Kellindil and Anna had posted just updated.)

I mean shit. I hate board RP. Chat RP was where I had fun. I know atleast 20 people who would play nightly, as I'm sure you all know a bunch of people aswell. Let's get this hobby rolling again.

This is totally awesome! How in the heck did you guys come across this, Dirty? The people there are great, the RP is plentiful, and it doesn't have a noticeable word limit!

We gotta get down with this. I'm in. I like the fact that you can see the list of users who are playing in the room list to the right of the screen. I'm in as Raven_Lionheart. See ya there!

So I checked out this http://rpghost.com thing, and it's not bad. The gaming there is very much like Ayenee, circa 2000 or so, before things got completely ridiculous (SUPASAYAJINXXX: STABBA ATTA YOU WEETH SWORD-AH-FEESH Of-AH DOOM!).

I really don't like the software, though. Clunky, laggy, posts showing up out of order if you make them quickly... Still, for your paragraph-lovers out there, it'll do. I even ran into a fellow Ayenee refugee. He said he'd only used the boards once, but he had heard of the place. Anyway, if you run into a fella named Jason_Baane, tell him Daelan sent you.

Frankly, I still prefer IRC, same as I always have. Does anyone here still use ICQ or Yahoo Messenger? Daelan_Magan is my Yahoo login. Although it hasn't been used in years I just reinstalled it.

Fact is, we really need to get people playing in a big way again. And until something better comes along, rpghost will do I guess. Richie, Dirty, I looked for you two, but you weren't around. Maybe I'll see you two sometime, though. Y'never know!
