Olsen's mother died giving birth to him on a battlefield while fighting the Darkthornes. Olsen's mother was the queen of the Whitethornes. Oslen became king of the Whitethornes when he was of age. Oslen married the shield maiden Brunhilda and together they had a daughter named Isolde and son name Starke. Oslen died at the Battle of Destiny in the final conflict with the Darkthornes.
