Rather than being born to loving parents, Camaryn is a product of the Shadaloo criminal syndicate's cloning program. Specifically, she is a genetic clone of the insane, would-be dictator Master Bison. Initially intended to serve as a backup body for Bison to inhabit when his Psycho Power inevitably destroyed his current body, he nonetheless decided to put Camaryn to work rather than leave her in a stasis tank.
Bison used his Psycho Power to bring Camaryn under his complete control, then infused her with the knowledge and skill she would need to carry out assassinations in his name. And kill she would — at least until being assigned to assassinate a yogi named Dhalsim. Dhalsim would use his spiritual powers to reawaken Camaryn's self-awareness, allowing her to break free of Bison's control.
She confronted him, learned the truth of her existence, and used a combination of her own latent psionic potential and Bison's Psycho Drive device to free the other assassins struggling under his control.
Later, an amnesiac Camaryn was found on the doorstep of the British special operations unit Delta Red. While she couldn't remember anything beyond her own name, Camaryn was still in possession of the skills she had developed as the Killer Bee. This made her valuable enough to the team that they took her in and rounded her skill set out with generalized military training.
Once her training was complete Camaryn spent the next several years working alongside Delta Red, the US Air Force, Interpol, and countless other organizations to bring Master Bison down. Bits and pieces of her own history would turn up along the way, but Camaryn hesitated to put those pieces back together for fear of what she might learn about herself. She resolved herself to postpone that discovery process until after Bison had been defeated once and for all.
And defeated Bison would be, albeit not by Camaryn's hand. While her other companions were dealing with Bison, Camaryn once again found herself attempting to free her fellow assassins. Unfortunately, the backlash of Psycho Power caused by Bison's death would hurl Camaryn into an unfamiliar environment.
Arriving in Ayenee by way of Psycho Power backlash, Camaryn found herself adrift on a world full of things that defied all reason and sensibility. If not for a chance encounter with the CEO of Feisar Arms, there's no telling what fate she might have met. The company's efforts weren't too dissimilar from what she had been doing for Delta Red, and they were glad to have the help of an agent skilled in both covert operations and intelligence work.
Camaryn's skills allowed her to catapult straight to the top of the company as the right hand of its CEO, whom she soon fell in love with and eventually married. Theirs was a troubled marriage, however, as she found that her husband was becoming increasingly irrational as time went on. Worse, he actively discouraged her from seeking out her own history, insisting that she was better off focusing on the present.
Though she remained faithful to both her husband and his company, the final straw came in the form of the Merqury City disaster. Had he not resigned and disappeared, Camaryn was fully prepared to divorce — and if necessary, kill — her husband.
With the rest of Feisar Arms' leadership out of the picture, Camaryn was the sole remaining executive in a position to take control of the company. Setting aside her feelings about her ex-husband, she began the process of reorganizing Feisar Arms into the Federated Technologies group.
While the company was working to get back on its feet, Camaryn finally set about confronting her origins as the clone of Master Bison. She had certainly inherited a lot of his proclivities, most of which she had spent her entire life suppressing out of fear that she might fall into his shadow once more. She had also inherited his tremendous capacity for wielding Psycho Power, a force driven by all the hatred, fear, and anger that dwells in the human heart — emotions she knew all too well.
Knowing that she could not possibly continue to suppress every aspect she had inherited from her gene-father without going insane, Camaryn decided to bend those traits to a positive end. The driven personality and boundless ambition in her heart could be harnessed to make the galaxy a better place, and she could use her aptitude for Psycho Power to develop the power of her mind. It wasn't everything she needed to work through, but it would be a good start.
Since then, Camaryn has remained at the helm of her company and is committed to building a better future for the galaxy.
Despite everything she's been put through, Camaryn is a fiercely independent woman who is utterly committed to the path of righteousness. She finds it difficult to relate to other people at times, however, and is frequently described as a bit of an ice queen. Still, there's a certain intensity behind those cold blue eyes…
FD-TN-PA01R Prism Armor: A first-generation suit of trans-Newtonian powered armor developed by Federated Dynamics. Easily modified, Camaryn's suit is always equipped with an advanced C3 system, a psionic amplifier, and psionic blade generators.
Psionics: Camaryn has trained to develop a wide array of psionic abilities including (but not limited to) telepathy, psychokinesis, and psychometabolism. Owing to her being a clone of Master Bison, her capacity for wielding this power far exceeds normal human limits.
Biomods: Both as part of her creation and throughout the course of her tenure with Federated Technologies, Camaryn has received a number of biomods which improve her physical and psionic abilities in numerous ways. She is known to possess superhuman durability and a rapid healing factor as a result of these mods. What else she has is anyone's guess.
Camaryn has no special weaknesses inconsistent with human biology.
