In January 1997, Yahoo! introduced Yahoo! Chat((http://web.archive.org/web/19970109130853/http://www9.yahoo.com:80/

Ayenee was created in November 1997. The name was invented by [[Ayenee:Player:Anna]] and the first guidelines of Ayenee RP were published in Kellindil's Site (either in 1997 or in 1999).
