Phaentia

Hello.
So, IRL I call myself a chaos mage, just, not to anyone I know. lawl. Well, I call myself a chaos mage on the internet, and I practice magick. I also meditate and worship God.
Over the years, how I use magick in the RP has changed significantly. When I first started on MSN in the early winter of 99, I went on as Paradise Knight. Well, I quickly learned that I would have to power up, as the characters that I kept having to face in all the commotion were powered up more than the PK. I remember my battle against... hm, slipped through time, eased out of memory, well, ThunderGod Odin or something like that, well, he jumped into the sky and shot lightening at my Knight. The hosts in the room were complaining to him that he was god moding, which, at the time, I didn't know what moding was. So my Knight plunged his sword into the ground, and the Lightening traversed through his armor and the sword into the ground where it cancelled out. Odin got booted, and began building a reputation as a god moder, and I quickly used the knowledge of god moding and moding in general to form a new weapon for my Knight, Mode Breaker, Sacred Sword.

The Mode Breaker sword has since been through modifications, and now, it is a dangerous alternative to psychology based on biker use of psychological manipulation in a social or private setting. Most of the info that I've extracted and refined since that time, concerning specifically the psychological elements, has been stolen, modified, or deleted. Mostly stolen. I know I had thirty two mode functions, all based on my own personal experience. I know when they went missing, apparently, I was only out for two seconds. More than that, long enough for him to delete them and scramble the rest of the file into senseless garbage. Anyway, the Sacred Sword, Mode Breaker, was the type of weapon that absorbed energies and combined them within it's iron to enchant the blade with new energies formed out of that combination. It wasn't a sentient weapon, yet it could also channel psychic energy, such as emotions or thoughts. It was an invincible weapon, due to the fact that it's steel had been forged in such a specific way that it could not be destroyed, every molecule had a hyper link to every other molecule, based on simple Light.

I soon found myself going up against a real tough cookie. His name was Orochi Zero, and he wielded the Orochi Zero energy. He destroyed the moon, claimed that he could do anything in the virtual environment, and blew up the armor that I had built at this one shop. He tried to blow up the sword, but the sword was not allowed to take his energy and combine it, it was not allowed by him, so the sword reacted badly and vaporized an entire lake. I'm not sure of the exact location, I think this happened at the Red Dragon Inn. Well, pretty soon, my character was naked and his sword was out of his reach, time was up, school was closing down for the day, so I had to go. In a ditch attempt to save the charrie, PK imploded into his own heart's dimension, becoming a wierd ghost that later got resurrected, but it never felt the same. I forget the chick that brought him back with a ritual, can't remember her anymore, maybe I never did. PK was only the first couple of weeks into my RP life, and the Mode Breaker went through many variants all based on the principle of an invincible weapon that combined energies.

In that battle with Odin, I never got to finish it cuz they booted him out. In the battle with Orochi Zero, I was using attacks that had been powered up. For instance "Breaker!" which sends a gashing rip in the earth towards the enemy, creating a bottomless crevice that they would fall into and be smothered and crushed by the earth as it closes over them. And there were others which I don't remember. The reason Orochi destroyed the moon was cuz PK, after the encounter with Odin and a day later, had summoned up his elements and could draw from the celestial alignment, or zodiac. PK was drawing from the Moon to gain more gravity energy to fuel an attack that, pending, would have countered the Orochi energy. Well, it didn't work. I didn't have to accept that fight, but soon, I myself would become a vicious god moder, stealing souls and warping spacetime with but a memory of essence.

Times were good in those days, though, drugs were becoming prevalent in my life, and, I was constantly hanging out with these older people when I wasn't in the chat rooms at school. The school was very kind, they brought forward the notion of a community computer, and I got to have internet right at my own home. More to be said concerning that, certainly.

Now, on the matter of RP magick, in the beginning, I was already a Shadow Lord/ Chaos Mage, cuz I had training for that IRL. I had played Chrono Trigger and FF7, Ghouls N Ghosts and Golden Axe, I had a really great childhood. Also, I had developed an extensive theory for phantasy that was supposed to do something for me at the current moment in my life. I can post that theory here if you would like, I've been writing about it consistently for about seven years. So much information for phantasy religion that it's sickening. Anyway, I had a good set up, and I knew what the elements were, in fact, I had been developing my own game ideas and scientific theories my whole life, so I went into the digital world of the internet well informed with extensive theory.

PK used his aura, he could switch elements, but his primary element was earth. I'm so damn proud of the charrie that I would like to play him again sometime, but in the same active chat environment where he first encountered foes like Odin and Orochi Zero. Now, on the subject of elements, traditional magick can be literally taught through an rp experience. If you do it right, and you actually know what you are doing yourself, you can teach a youngster some of the basics of how to invoke or banish or evoke the elements. I've since lost my traditional information and have muddled the sweet fart and shit together with a twelve element system that also includes the chakra. I don't remember if PK used the chakra, I just know that he had energy batteries that were layers of his aura, like spirits within himself and around himself that acted like dimensions of his psychic energy. I don't think it was the chakra, but it works out to be the same thing in reality.

RP magick and real magick can be close together, as, with chaos magick and the proper application of your focus, you can develop the same magicks that occur in the game to the waking reality. Of course, that requires the ability to trance, so it isn't really waking reality, more like an astral reality effect that carries over by an intensity of the focus to the waking state. Similar to how dreams can warn us of impending doom, we have the precognitive abilities to sense a reality, or, on the flip, to create it as we go.

In RP, magick is based on the character's power to cast magick. Yet, with the system of the internet being what it is, and that our psychology works to promote the ideal circumstances for what we individually want from life, there is the element of the mageddon as the phaentia in use as combined with a technology.

Phaentia- the realm of imagination, the mental plane as perceived by the third eye of the person who is conjuring the imagination to have the effect of being existent to arouse emotions or provide energy or nourishment to the psyche, from the psyche. Yet this has a multitude of ways of being expressed in individual consciousness, and does not have to be limited to third eye visualization. It can also be art, writing poetry, basically, it is best summarized by saying 'the state of play which affects magick or energy to exist'. Phaentia has become a place of war and terror, and many have abused it by denying it the right to exist in their own minds.

Mageddon- the technoversial planes of information and communication which occur when phaentia is combined with a technology. As phaentia creates ideas for technology, the mageddon manifests as the technology is then used in a creative way, by the imagination. So it is no different than saying that Cloud Strife is Sephiroth's son and Aeris is who you are in the game, under the name Pussy Scratcher for fun and shits. Or it is no different than playing a video game in a way that the game is not supposed to be played, and in doing so, revealing a secret of the Heavens that no man ever knew before. It is no different than drawing a picture, then tracing that same picture and putting in a word bubble, then tracing it again and using a computer to animate it with a special line moving program commonly used for face adaptation of aging news anchors. lol!! lol!!!! Mageddon can also be used in other ways, which directly indicate that there is something within the 'dynamic/static' of the frequencies of existential occurence.

RP is a mageddon based realm, yet, a LAARP session would be more like a phaentia. Really, it comes down to how much of one is within the other, or how much of the phaentia is actually activated to your psyche.

So that's my random thoughts, though, there is a lot more to be said concerning all these things. Any questions or feed back would be appreciated.
