(actually that's correct in it's full assestment and I congradulate you zeth. That is how the vampire does work. My character was just taking precautions in case something "should" happen.)

Nightwolf muttered softly when the woman ran away.
"Great, just great. She runs off, and she'll probably attract the unwanted attentions of a lycan or three."

He walks over to the half vampire and looks at her. "We're gonna have to leave this area pretty soon, if we don't want to attract any more attention to ourselves."

Moon raised an eyebrow and just stared at the man,so many thoughts running through her head."I have this one stone at my house...my mother told me to keep it in case i ran into a hunter."She made a bit of a "hmmph" sound, and bit her bottem lip slightly with her right fang.

He gazes at the halfling curiously. "Unless your mom was some kind of vampire elder, I kinda doubt that she had the knowledge to find the orb."

"But anyway, give me a sec and we'll split this scene."

The hunter entered the door and ran upstairs, grabbing necessary gear and whatever else he needed, he flung them into a carry-all sack and leaped back through the window. He made a motion with his hand and the helper's dispersed for the time being.

He gazed at the halfling. "all right, let's get going. I'll look at the stone when we get there and tell you what it is."

Echo followed the fleeing vampire long after the hunter had returned to speak to Moon, the birds keen sense of hearing caught the conversation between the two of them. With a loud sqawk at the vampire the bird circled then returned to follow Moon, to make sure the young hafling would come to no harm from the hunter or his followers.

Echo returns and circles the hunter.Feeling insane vibes flowing from the man, the large bird grows angery. Swooping down at top speed the bird descends upon the hunters head, beak point hitting bone and before he can voices his pain the birds beak goes through the skull to rip at rotted brain matter. The hunter still on his feet but not for long.
