The Forgotten Eclipse Tavern, was now being built anew in a new location. That made three locations but this was the only one in a town. It was strange that Mithrandir had never considered building in a town before but it always seemed in Ayenee that towns were a bit of a problem, especially when it came to humans being afraid of demi-human creatures as they were often called. Mithrandir knew full well he would do well in this town having a monopoly on the tavern industry thus far. This town had been established nearly a year and a half ago, while the construction had started Mithrandir worked on getting approval for his business to be the first tavern in the town, sadly it took a while longer to get the paperwork out of the way and begin on breaking ground.

It had taken nearly a year since then to get his tavern built properly and up to code. It was a miracle that the tavern was able to be built so quickly with out the use of Magic, but in Miths opinion magic used for the simple fact of avoiding hard labor was always a misuse of Magic. Thankfully the main hall and offices of the Eclipse were finished now all he had to worry about was the future addition of a second floor to the main tavern hall, and the completion of the three floors of the inn.

Standing behind the counter he smiled as he looked over the Interior of his newest Eclipse, it was a mirror image of the other two, but still it seemed different. From the polished hard oak floors to the ceder doors. Even the dyed blue marble counter top, and the light blue cushions of the bar stools. Sliding his hand under the counter he grasped an ashtray and set it upon the counter the evening would be coming soon, and he hoped perhaps with it the first customer to the newest Forgotten Eclipse , and maybe even a few employees to help shoulder the load.

The Menu/Main Site of the Forgotten Eclipse Taverns

After leaving the park..she continued walking on then came upon a town, it was quaint..with a feeling of comfort..hopefully a feeling of 'belonging'..she looked around, and smiled as she thought to herself how this place she wouldnt mind calling home..it would take some doing she knew, it had been so long that she had been away..now returning, its going to take some time to settle in..but then something caught her attention and she stopped, ..staring straight ahead at a building called 'forgotten eclipse tavern'..slowly she approached towards the establishment..admired the exterior of the building..she sighed just a bit as it brought back a few memories of when she had her own business..but that was a long time ago. Then with brushing back her hair from her face, tucking it neatly behind her ears she reached her hand out to the door and with a gentle push she was soon stepping inside, closing the door behind her...she stood there for a few lingering moments gazing about the room, admiring the interior of the place.."looks wonderful" she said softly , then as she turned her attention towards the bar, she smiled as she caught sight of the one behind the counter.."hello...I do hope you are open, and if i may purchase a drink from your fine establishment" as the last word left her lips she was already at the counter , setting her bag to a chair, and settling down to the chair next to it..once again turning about to give another look over the place, "yes..it looks really great here."

Mith smirked as he saw his former wife enter the tavern. It was almost like he was reliving the first day after he opened the original Forgotten Eclipse . " I'm glad you approve, considering you helped me get the first one up and running those years ago, and this is almost identical" He said with a smile as he drew out his pack of cigarettes and slipped one from the pack and placed it firmly between his lips. " Veta have you ever known me to claim my tavern in closed when I have a welcome guest in its hall ? " he said with a smile turning quickly and grasping a glass and the top shelf whiskey Hirsch reserve and pouring about half the glass full before spinning around and setting the bottle back upon the rack behind the bar and grabbing the lemon juice and a pinch of powdered sugar, and a lemon. "Whiskey sour, I believe was your drink. " He said with a smile setting the glass down in front of her .

While he waited for her to speak he clumsily started to look for a book of matches finding them in a moment and pulling one down the friction strip catching the sulfur tip on fire and placing it to the end of the cancer stick. Drawing in the smoke deep into his lungs he released it cooly onto the still lit match extinguishing its life and setting it in the ashtray. " How long has it been Veta ? A Year ? " He said with his kind smile upon his lips. It seemed like only a few weeks had passed since he offered to turn her and give her the gift of eternal life, but she was reluctant at the time and had never given him a firm answer either way.

Setting the cigarette into the ashtray he grabbed another glass and a bottle of grenadine, filling it about a third before picking up the bottle of Grey Goose and filling it a little more than a third and grabbed the mobile tap and added cola to it before lifting it to his lips and taking a taste. The Smooth vodka poisoned Cherry coke tasted decent but it still seemed off. Replacing the multi-tap into the holder and grabbing his cigarette he looked at her waiting for her to spe

As she had sat down, she noticed his all too familiar smirk , and couldn't help but smile about it..but, then upon his comment of her helping establish his first tavern raised a brow.." Honestly, Mith, thank you..but I think all the credit of the Forgotten Eclipse goes to you..and yes, a whiskey sour..perfect." She replied with another warm smile directly towards him. Then she watched him for a few moments as he fumbled a light for h is cigarette..suddenly thinking back to a time when he was in his study at the castle, a night of him seated in his favorite chair with his pipe..how he used to entertain making all of us laugh at the way he made smoke animals...Veta then caught herself with a hand over her mouth to stiffle away a giggle or two..As Mith had set his cigarette down to the ashtray, she leaned forward reaching for it, lifts it up, gently placing the filter end against her lips taking a quick drag but, she was careful not to stain the filter with her lip color..And as she replaced his cigarette back to its position to the tray she then leaned back against the barchair, tilted back her head slightly and blew out a slim stream of smoke..She then turned her attention to watching him mix the drink "Yes..It's been a year..doesn't quite seem like it thought.." Her voice trailed off as another memory came forward..A memory of a dance..Veta fell silent as she relished this memory.." How time does fly.." she picks up her drink, taking a sip then setting the glass back upon the counter..turning her eyes up at him.." It's wonderful in seeing you again, Mith..I've missed that." she then finished with another smile as she leaned forward to once again lift her glass up from the counter.

Mori Hattori steeled himself. Most of the local nobility had been weirdos or perverts. Yet the samurai still needed to find a suitable dayimo or lord to serve. He enters the tavern and past the door. He sees to people talking and speaks up. "Excuse me sir, Do you know where I can find employment?" the samurai asked.

As another day winds its way to an end, The Town Mayor, Gryphon Stewart, enters the newest tavern.

Looking around he says "This place doesn't look so bad, Mith." He smiles and takes a seat at the bar, ordering a pint of ale.

As if he had always been there, and perhapse he had. The sound of illumination tainted the air, the strike of friction and sulphur, the smell of smoke. The point of illumination being nothing more than a lit match casting an almost eery glaze over his face, other wise nearly hidden beneath the cloud of shadows that the taverns light played against the walls and corners. A stranger to some, but perhapse to those who knew the towns occupants they might recognize him as Tsaimon Tsuishih.

That dying match would soon find it's way to the thin paper tube which already rested betwixt the enclosure provided by his lips, of course lighting the business end of this apparent cigarette. But whence it's stench touched the air it had an almost alcholic aroma, which teased the nostrils of those it touched, asking, begging them to take just one more sniff, it was marijuana. And just as suddenly as his presence was given it was taken away with the flick of a wrist, extinguishing the match, leaving nothing more than the small orange burn of the joints end touching the darkness. Oh yes, he was still there.

Mithrandir smiled to Veta and nodded his head slowly. " With out your expertise Veta the original eclipse would have flopped" he nodded to her words and took another sip of his drink. Looking towards the door a moment as he spotted a shadow pass before the glass paned panel. " I have missed seeing you around as well, and Dakkon and Lilith too, but life seems to dictate other courses for us all " he said softly. Seeing a Samurai enter Mithrandirs brows raised slowly it was unusual to encounter such a man this far north.

As a smile glazed over Miths lips he spoke loudly in a grand greeting fashion " Welcome to the Forgotten Eclipse Tavern and Inn my good sir! " he said in a grandiose tone. As he listened as the Samurai spoke Mithrandirs mind turned over the question. "Well my good sir that depends on the type of employment you are looking for, For this town seems to be mainly a farming town so I am sure a few farm hands would be welcome. However as for a man with a sword for hire looking for a nobel lord or wealthy merchant I cannot think of anyone currently in town, I myself am however looking for assistance with serving drinks here however, but I'm afraid I have only been here off and on looking over the construction of my tavern, I'm sorry if I have been of no help" He said kindly. As he Noticed another shadow pass in front of the glass pane in the window.

As the door opened and the Mayor entered, Mith issued a kind nod to the mayor and spoke in a loud welcoming voice " Welcome To the Forgotten Eclipse, Mr. Stewart. " Before he could get another word in edge wise the Mayor spoke about the tavern and a smirk appeared on Mithrandirs lips " Well it still has a little more work to be done on the Inn Side and I hope to add a second floor with some games and other such before too long " He said before the Mayor ordered an ale, sadly as he did not define his choice meaning Mithrandir had to choose which Ale to serve. Grabbing a glass and filling it to the brim he turned and set the ale before the Mayor and spoke " That will be Three gold pieces " He said with a smirk before casting a look at the Samurai wondering if he was alright.

Mith knew full well when someone entered his tavern it was as if someone was dragging an Ice cube down his spine. Turning his eyes from the samurai he cast a glance to the side and saw the new man who had appeared. Letting out a soft sigh he smirked and spoke to Veta " When it rains it pours isn't that the old saying " he said with a smirk as he smelled the scent of weed burning in his tavern. He didn't mind it per say but it was certainly not his favorite smell.

Nodding to the man he spoke in a calm and concise fashion " Welcome my good man to the Forgotten Eclipse Tavern and Inn, what can I get you this evening ? " he said before picking up his cigarette and taking a long drag from it before crushing its life out into the ashtray. Waiting for a response Mith wondered why he opened the bar before he had it properly staffed, it always seemed unfair to the patrons to cut them off verbally as a new person arrived.

Gryphon Stewart

"Most appreciated, Mith. Just put it on my tab, for now. And please, just Gryph after business hours."

Gryphon turned to the samurai. This was indeed a strange sight. "Welcome to The Town, stranger. If you are looking for a job, I know of a few." Gryphon took a drought of his ale, and smiled in a friendly small-town politician way.

Mori Hattori bowed to the mayor. "Thank you mayor-san. I indeed am looking for employment. When one can only fight they either wind up employed by some one or a bandit. I do not want to be a bandit," The man says. He then takes a seat at the bar and orders the cheapest tea they had. 3 gold for a drink? that was outrageuos! Unless it magically healed your wounds or endowed you with greater stamina it was a rip off. Shame on Mith for charging so much.

Gryphon Stewart
Mayor of The Town

Gryphon says "Well, The Marketplace is usually looking for hired help for various tasks. Manual labor for the merchants, and whatnot is always available. If you've got skills though, some of them like to hire guards to protect their goods and their profits.

We are also looking to hire a new warden for the park, though I doubt you've got the skills for that.

Then, there's The Town Guard. You could enlist as a member there.

Those are the only ones that come to mind immediately."

Chuckled, the sound exclamated what he thought of the conversation taking place, almost amusing, or perhapse it was just that, after all it was awarded a chuckle. Seconds later he stepped from the shadows, joint nearly consumed betwixt those lips after drag apon drag reduced it to near nothing, the bloodshot hue in those eyes reminisced apon the effect this drug had apon Tsaimon Tsuishih. a new comer to this town as well, though the last thing he sought was employment, or was it?

His attire perhapse not the most desireable to lesser classed women, but apon a nobler crowd he may be considered just a little under their class. Loose fitting black hung from his waist loosely encircling each leg in a pair of pants which nearly concealed his boots entirely save for the toes and upper portion of the ridge of his booted feet. Draping his shoulders, distorting his abdomen from sight and concealing those tattooed slim yet muscled arms was the trench coat like looseness of his buttoned satin shirt. Leaving the black wet appearance of his curled bangs to almost curtain his face and string down either side of it. He had just a hint of eastern origin to his likeness.

Just then he allowed the joint to flick from his fingers towards the samurai, Mori Hattori. "I'll tell you what." He said stepping around the samurai and Mayor, acknowledging the owner, Mithrandir and his lady friend with a solemn nod. "If you extinguish and throw that joint away, I'll pick up your drink and I may.. I just may have a job for you.."

With the conclusion of those words he had come to a table none to far away from the growing crowd, where he slid into a chair previously pulled from beneath the tables enclosure, both arms coming down if only to let his elbows rest against it's backings surface, yes Tsaimon Tsuishih was sitting in the chair in reverse. "So... whattaya say ol' friend?"

She couldn't help but chuckle softly as she heard the quote from Mith, and nodded as she reached again for her drink, "Yes..I do believe that is what they say dear." Then as she heard the others who have entered into the establishment she lowered her glass and swiveled about on the barchair to cast a curious glance over in their directions, smiling and nodding her head to each of them in a polite fashion.."Hello, Gentlemen.." She again flashed a lovely smile then turned her attention back to her drink, yes, she thought to herself, I do believe I'm going to like it here.

"M'lady." He nodded in response to Veta's greeting before allowing his chin to rest against the chairs backinged surface.

Inwardly he judged her, eyeing her, aspying what he liked and disliked about the woman, paying likewise attention to the mayor and Mithrandirr. But that was as far as it went, after all he had more important matters to tend too. But were they really important or just a good laugh at someone elses expense?

Mori watches as some one cleans the blunt up before he could react. Then this nameless person exits stage right. The samurai then says,"I think that bloke liked your offer better."

Mithrandir snickered a little as the joint flew threw the air, it was in often that he saw someone show someone such disrespect by throwing a lit joint at them. Shaking his head a little he smirked as a magical phantasm one of the nicer aspects of his tavern prevented the flooring from being mared by such an innapropriate act. " My appologies my good sirs however that was something of my own design, considering fire insurance prices are so high now adays " He said as he picked up his drink and turned writing down the mayors tab and posting it over the tap under the counter above the keg of ale he had been served before slamming the whole of his glass.

Smirking a little as he looked to his former wife he could not help but notice her almost gleeful expression as she contemplated this little town. If she opened a blackbird in this town Mith was almost certain he would loose the competition of those bussinesses. Veta was far more skilled at running a tavern and finding reliable help. Turning he looked over the whole of the tavern it was close to as perfect as he could make it, but still it lacked.

Turning his eyes to the Mayor he spoke in a soft tone one to be used amonst friends more than mere aquantances " So how has the promotion of this fine town going Gryph ? " Certainly if Mithrandir wanted a good look at the town he could always take a stroll around it and keep tabs on the growing number of homes and fields let alone shops and other goods, but that always seemed like such a chore. Looking at the Ale Mithrandir turned and grabbed another glass and filled it casualy with another type of Ale this one being dwarven in origins, and setting it behind Gryphs current glass so when he finished with his first he could try a differnt Ale.

Gryphon Stewart
The Town Mayor

Gryphon smiles and took up the new drink to replace the old. "Oh, you know how it goes. Towns like this always start out slowly, and build up steam as more people hear about it. We aren't really doing any direct advertising, as far as I know. Just a sign up that says 'welcome' to anyone who feels like they want to wander in.

I expect that as the weather warms up, we'll see more travellers stopping by."

"A pity..." Scowling inwardly he allowed his chin to brush the chairs surface in a left to right and back again motion before lifting himself from his chosen seat. "So tavern owner, I see you have drinks, lovely ladies." He nodded towards Veta. "But what else do you have for our amusement, cards, recreational activities, hmm?"

With that being said Tsaimon Tsuishih walked towards the bar, admiring the rows of liquor on the other side, just out of reach. "Nothing fancy I think, oh why the hell not, I'll try what the lady is having."

Little did they know, that this individual. Tsaimon Tsuishih was actually scouting the tavern, the door, the windows, the bar. Mentally inscribing this establishment into his long term memory, security devices, individuals and that phantasm... what was that he wondered? Perhapse preparing himself for an after hours visit.

As she sat there at the bar, her fingers idly strumming along the side of the small glass that contained the remainder of the whiskey sour she had ordered..Listening silently to the mixed conversations around the bar from the gentlemen..Tonight she was dressed fairly casual, dress well fitted jeans that accentuated her curves, a blouse neatly tucked with a few buttons at the top left purposely undone to expose the necklace she donned about her small throat..She smiled back at Darkside, but yet couldnt help but notice the odd manner in which he would eye her..it made her feel slightly uncomfortable..like she was being studied..She couldnt help but feel like something was up..She gave a bit of a lovely smirk, returning her gaze back to her drink as she continued thinking to herself..Perhaps it was the many years of being a tavern owner herself long before she had met her former husband , Mithrandir..She couldnt place her finger on it, but something inside was causing a red flag to pop up..a warning feeling..Could it be the way he was looking about..admiring the room and those within it? Again she wasnt sure, just a feeling she was having..Then upon listening to the conversation of the Mayor, she cleared her throat gently then smiled.."Just a thought..but what about holding a 'welcoming festival'..nothing fancy mind you but a nice friendly get together..an outside cookout, drinks..maybe some festivities that would draw some people together..and a great way of introducing this wonderful town..as well as a way of the townsfolk to mingle and getting to know eachother..but, as I've said, its just a thought.."
Then looking back over to Mith, she caught a glimpse from him that gave a slight show of admiration and respect..this in itself made her smile all the more, with that she lifts her glass from the counter, downed the remained taste then sets it back down again.."Top me again , Mith?"
