I am so glad you are taking an interest in the chat.
We will be opening up some time in September for beta testing, so far we came across only a few bugs but they have already been fixed. ~Excellent programmer.~

Alright So I have been asked about the chat a few times So I suppose I can list most things here.

This is a chat that look like a running and scrolling forum, it was desighned with forum players in mind, No posting limits on the chat it self for you can type two years if you wanted to, (least the other person will know.) There is a bar over head that tells you when another person is typing in the room. The room saves posts in fact the whole chat so if posts are needed to fill up the forum, there is not a problem there, and no one can lie about who did what to whom in chat oocly, Its all there in multicolrs.

The chat has basic texts for the "chat" area, one single text (at the moment that is getting fixed) For IMS, all your ims come in one collumn, no one can be anonymous at all so there is no ghosting, However for the administration and moderators there is invisibility. Higher ups can view back more if needed, there is dice as well.

Character images are no larger then 300x300 pixels, banners still discussing sizes. There will be new areas created so what I am doing is like yahoo, (bleah) there is a section of chat, then those are broken down in to subsections, then those are broken down in to rooms.

So something like this

As forums are added the list grows of main chat areas, Kingdoms and cities can also be created, and bought.

Inventory items need to be 150x150 no smaller no larger.

More on the chat

Because some of the forums are ran as kingdoms some areas of chat will be ran the same way with positions, There is going to be a web page describing each area of roleplay with a link to that forum. Those kingdoms will be looking to hire new people when the chat opens to fill positions.

Each web page will also have a post or news paper of events. With kingdoms including forums we ask that each forum makes 2 days a certain celebration or holiday through out the year, I would need the admin to speak with me on this so i can keep the schedule somewhat spaced out. Days of celebration we try to keep the chat connected by hosting parties for all to attend.

I will have the list of kingdom and days shortly.
We have a yule celebration two masquerade balls (on the days of Masquerade balls Profiles will not be seen.)
We also have a Topsy Turvy day and gypsy celebrations as well.

The chat is mainly based on medieval, if enough people express for a serious area for another time frame or era we will be happy to make one. You can play more then one character at a time. So enjoy characters will not be connected to the main account.

If you have some very nice fonts you would like to use for your characters please let me know, Journals, contracts, realm mail, and parchments are all done by one font that you choose for that character, To get the full effect of the chat we will have a font package download. (Wow bunch of cool free fonts in one area:p)
 
If everything goes the way it is suppose to we will be opening up right before Archon. (near the end of September.) We have a small amount of mods and admins so anyone wanting to help let me know. Right now most of the kingdoms are made and finished there is a Middle Ages section. A modern like era and user rooms.
I want to produce New Ayenee on this chat as well. Give me a word if you want a section. I will tell you what has to be done by September 18th.
 
Well the first installment of the chat is completed. ~Practically~ *Sweat drop* I am not happy with my server the response time is not nearly as fast as it was on the other one. However this one is paid for. So as it shows rapidly the posts you receive it has to reload after send one.

Right now I am loading up the BKG for the main rooms, user rooms working awesome, the report box is working awesome, some minor things need to be done here and there.
Items and shops are now being uploaded as well.
The chat will be continually upgrading itself every time I get enough money for the new parts and edition. By the end the chat will be amazing but we are opening it on the smallest amount of objects for the chat. So the chat will continue to get better.

So we have gold, shops, items, clan badges, guild badges house badges, awards trophies, inventories, holidays and festivals, report boxes, main room with background, 15 styles. Weathers that effect kingdom wide. (After the pictures are done, this is the way it works Say you want to change the weather of New Ayenee and you do, al of the main rooms in new ayenee turn to rain as well. but the other kingdoms thier cities are what ever they had chose.) the chat tells you who is online with refreshing, there is a private message panel. a Meep game and a little bit more. But I cannot tell everything.

I am uploading images and getting things ready. Mith when you get your team together for who ever is helping out let me know.
Id like the admins mods know how to run their area of chat.
