System Hunting

I am looking for a quick and easy to learn dice system that I can apply to board rp. I was going to use BESM (Big eyes small mouth), But I can not find a core rule book. Any ideas or suggestions?

Acctualy this would be where it should have been, so I moved it here for ya. I wish I could say something in regards to your question, but Table top is far beyond my knowledge. Although I advocated checking for pdfs after talking to someone much more knowledgeable I retract that statement and apologize for ever making it.

I found this for BESM with google...

Not sure if it is what you want or not.

The penultimate Tabletop dice game is Dungeons and Dragons of course. Many forums (myth-weavers.com, thetangledweb.net, dndonlinegames.com) use this format for their PbP (Play by Post) games.
If you want a good rules site for that system, I personally recommend d20srd.org.

Also, if you take Mith's advice, be aware that some PDFs are copyrighted, and distributed illegally. Make sure you are getting open-source material only if you take this route.

Another way to check such things are at your local library. I once found a dungeon masters guide here at my local library, so that's another option available to you as well.

Also, another dice area game-related is wizards of the west and magic the gathering.

Wizards of the west, is a very large webpage with all kinds of stuff.

Magic the gathering, is a rp-dice-based-trading card game.

Yeah, but I have no mopney or car. Weep for Pedro! Anyways thanks for the ideas. But honestly, if YOU got in an IC battle against another Player would you WANT to use dice? I'm afraid of setting up a great table top game and people shunning and going for free form instead.

First off if you are paraphrasing Excel Saga with the Pedro comment you have my attention. Anyhow as for setting up a table top game, on a forum people have done it before and it worked out rather well. IT was one of the most active and continuos Rps on our temp boards (Before we moved to this domain). The thing to remember is some people like the added structure of dice rolls and other such to keep the game fair in contrast to someo0ne pulling a mystical happy god from god knows where.

Zeth, on a completely unrelated note, I like you. You are posting interesting questions, and actively participating. Kudos, man.

And I know of a few people who would be down for some D&D tabletop gaming, including myself.
